December 13, 200915 yr :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: This just makes me support the campaign even more! Has MUSIC really come to this? I'm sure Tom wouldn't like reading a lot of points in this thread! Since when did the campaign become anything to do with MONEY and Sony? It seems ever since the late 90's when all these manufactured groups took over the people who are in it for the MONEY rather than their PASSION about music are the norm and no one can see through them and when a campaign to put some excitement into the christmas charts with a campaign to give money to Shelter alongside it comes along people are talking about where the money for the song goes even when Tom stated all the money the band gets from the song will go to charity as well! Then again this is buzzjack so you'll go and worship Cheryl Cole who clearly ain't bothered about 'her' music at all :)
December 13, 200915 yr I have just purchased Killing In The Name ^_^ 99p, what a rip. Not as if I'll ever use it though...
December 13, 200915 yr Then again this is buzzjack so you'll go and worship Cheryl Cole who clearly ain't bothered about 'her' music at all :) I bloody hate her. Shall I leave buzzjack? :kink:
December 13, 200915 yr I have just purchased Killing In The Name ^_^ 99p, what a rip. Not as if I'll ever use it though... its 29p on Amazon!
December 13, 200915 yr Author I have just purchased Killing In The Name ^_^ 99p, what a rip. Not as if I'll ever use it though... 70p on play.com its 29p on Amazon! Amazon doesnt count towards the charts i believe.
December 13, 200915 yr 70p on play.com Amazon doesnt count towards the charts i believe. If it is bought via Amazon.co.uk it counts.
December 13, 200915 yr If it is bought via Amazon.co.uk it counts. Yes and its amazon.co.uk thats its available for 29p, theres currently 2 versions in amazon.co.uk top 10 one for 29p and the other 79p!
December 13, 200915 yr the group said not to buy it from amazon. :s Well as far as i know as of this year Amazon.co.uk downloads count towards the Uk charts! Someone at that group needs to do research!
December 13, 200915 yr Don't download songs need to be a minimum certain price to be chart-eligible? I'm sure I read that somewhere.
December 13, 200915 yr the group said not to buy it from amazon. :s It because in the Official Charts Rules it says downloads under 40p dont count or something.
December 13, 200915 yr It because in the Official Charts Rules it says downloads under 40p dont count or something. That refers to the price paid by the retailer. If Amazon pay 40p for a track and then sell it for 29p (or even a penny) it still counts. If they give it away fro free, it doesn't count.
December 13, 200915 yr The 40p minimum is the DEALER price (the amount Amazon pay for the track), not the RETAIL price. Amazon can charge what they want for a track and it still counts towards the chart.
December 13, 200915 yr Bought it for 29p on Amazon.co.uk. Bought it with my free credits on Napster. We'll show that tart who he's messing with, b*tch!!!
December 13, 200915 yr It's in virtually every one of the guy's posts though! Yes it is censored but he gets round it. Okay let's all use it if it's fine then!!! OK then. I don't think it actually affects anybody?
December 13, 200915 yr It looks like we may have the biggest sheep of all on our side :o http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sun_t...ime-at-all.html Help me! I agree with The Sun on something :( I'm shocked. I thought Murdoch and Cowell would've been BFFs ;o
