I think Joe should still perform on TOTP as he will still have one of the biggest sellers of the year but I do not think RATM will appear on a Friday afternoon show.My dad was asking what all the fuss was about so I played him RAGE and he said it was pure madness.Anyway RAGE all the way.

I cant believe rage machines have actually commented and tried to drum up support, they never had a major hit before and if it wasnt for the campaign they would never have been top 5 for any single. It wouldn't surprise me if it was them who actually started the campaign.

They are called RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, get that into your brain pls.

I will ignore your ignorant comment after that.

All Joe McCeldrey fans need sectioning.

To me anyone buying "The Climb" should be fined £20.00 with their money going to Shelter.

Has it occurred to you that some people actually might like the song?

Well these people need psychiatric help. How can they like a bland ballad by a Disney Whore who will probably be knocked up at the age of 19 and have five kids at the age 26?

People have brainwashed by Cowell/

what is their biggest hit and what did it get to in the chart?

I brought the subject of Rage Against the machine up to my mate the other day and she said she refuses to hear it, and that she'd want it to go to number 1 if it was Alexandra who had won the X Factor this year as she's never liked her, but not Joe as "He's really genuine and deserves a number 1." Then she proceeded to say it was bullying trying to ruin his career. I then said that its likely he'd still be number 1 next week if not this, but she was under the impression that its the end of his career if he charts any lower this week.

Couldn't really comment on the genuine stuff as I've only ever seen him on ITV news. He was annoying for the few seconds I saw him though.

Anyway, Rage for number 1!

Well these people need psychiatric help.

Well, if you say so...!

its not personal against joe, it didn't matter who it was. the song is a terrible lazy cover version and sums up the attitude cowell has towards music. its not about the music for him its about the business and money. joe should be upset with simon cowell lack of effort in giving him an original song. this campaign is about many things...taking on bland music, taking on reality tv influence on music, taking on simon cowell monolopy on #1 and wanting to see a chart battle. people are supporting and buying this for many reasons.

the best way to teach smug simon a lesson is too challenge and ultimately deny him but it is so difficult to take on the x-factor brand, him and the most powerful man in PR with all his contacts in the media.

He didn't mean in terms of sales, but they've had one top 10 hit - irrelevant anyway.

Do you not think some artists don't care about chart positions and sales? The charts are not be be all and end all of music unless you're owned by some mogel like Simon Cowell who are purely wit artists to make money. They may have wanted to be #1 this time, but that's only to make a point against the the big companies. The fact is at the end of the day the cover was lazy. It was released 6 months ago. Hopefully next year Cowell will try and use an original song.

for a start 'rage machines' :/ can you even read, it is in the thread title for f***s sake.

secondly, UK wise they have had a top ten hit, and 7 overall charted singles (6/7 in top 40).
