February 27, 201015 yr Alphabeat didn't get on until about 8:20 last night, and were gone by 8:35 :( Gaga came on 45 minutes later :lol: I didn't totally get my fix to be honest, I'm gonna see if there's tickets left for Koko on 28th April... By the way you'll be very happy Rich, the only two songs they played from the new album were The Spell and HIMH, the rest were classics (Boyfriend, 10,000 Nights, Fascination, think that was it actually).
February 28, 201015 yr saw them last night - amazing, after the tragic Semi Precious Weapons it had to be better really :lol: It made me remember why I love them so much in the first place, The Spell was really fantastic live actually as were the three original singles :wub: I'm not sure that Hole In My Heart translated very well to such a huge crowd but I still enjoyed their performance of it. Compared to GaGa though? I'd forgotten about them by the third song :kink:

Did they only do the five songs last night then, and was she late on? I hope she's OK, she's actually delayed a couple of shows until May and June now :o Back on topic, REALLY hope this is top 30 today...

I know, awful :lol: yeah I agree, they were great but GaGa was better - obviously, it was a much higher budget show with more songs :lol: yep they did The Spell, 10,000 Nights, Boyfriend, Hole In My Heart and then Fascination to finish. She was about 25 minutes late on...she came on about 9.10 and finished at 11.15...oh, that's sad to hear, hopefully she's ok - you wouldn't have known last night that anything was wrong with her.
February 28, 201015 yr Its such a shame that the 2nd secon nor album will do anything brilliant, i hope they dont get dropped as i think they are a band that have huge potential but just need to be marketed an awful lot better.

March 1, 201015 yr Impressive :) But iTunes albums sales are really small, and it was on pre-order a long time because it was available for pre-order. The physical sales will have to be huge to match that.

I think it can go top 40 again, the album looks like it might be a surprise hit... Any idea if a video was made for the Danish release btw?
March 2, 201015 yr If anything I think DJ could save it tbh. It's randomly on our MP3 system at work and everyone hums along to it not even knowing it.. :lol: They didn't do 'Boyfriend' at Manchester which I was slightly cut up about :(

March 2, 201015 yr 'DJ' I agree with Scherz! It could very well save this era for them actually. (BRILLIANT song - and easily the most commercial song on the album) Oh and if Greg James played it on his show, then it's more than likely going to get Radio 1 support. Alphabeat, seem to be the pure pop version of Cascada LOL. Even though they flop with their follow up singles, they still recieve support. Really pleased if 'DJ' is the next single. :D
March 2, 201015 yr I will be surprised if they release another single. However, listening to this album on itunes, it sounds alot better than the 1st album overall.
March 3, 201015 yr DJ is probably the best choice for next single. Clearly wont save this era for them but should at least get some album sales for them. Hole In My Heart really annoys me now tbh. I've gone from finding it really bland to just hating it :(
