I actually think this is much better than bad boys, and the first song i actually really like from her

I cant see it being number 1, but a likely top 10 placing

Hate her.

Hope it flops.

This girl is far too consumed with her own self-importance.

PLEASE NO HATE POSTS. IT'S JUST START ARGUMENTS! Thanks. :D

Completely agree. But everyone who has been and read her thread of the album, will know what I think :heehee:

She has far better :( Here's hoping 'The Silence' & 'All Night Long' are 3rd & 4th singles at least...

It isn't going to flop, that is for sure. Sales will be low, so I will say Top 5 just because it is AB.

This song has Alesha Dixon written all over it.

For me, I want 'The Silence' and 'Dumb' to be the 3rd and 4th singles ^_^

Does anyone know when the video is premièring. Hopefully, this week. Come on Alex, the release is so close. 2010 is so near.

I would've chosen 'All Night Long' for the second single if they wanted to keep the uptempo theme going. I really haven't warmed to this track at all. It's like a 'Boy Does Nothing' rip-off and the structure is kinda meh.

I think it'll be a safe top 5 hit though.

Justin Beiber is out on the same week and Jayz aswell. Cheryl would've maxed out on sales by then and the Xfactor winner has not got much hope of holding on to the top spot for more than 2 weeks.

I'll be surprised if she doesn't get to #1. And if it all goes horribly wrong top 5.

The single version sounds more exciting. I heard it on Capital a few days ago.

I reckon top 5, but its got a good stab at the #1 spot, if single sales are low at the start of the new year.
It's not going to flop as the company is going for an easy number one (minimum top 3) in a very quiet week. By does it matter anyway - she's not going to last long - her debut album is out of top 20 in its 7th week before Xmas...
I don't see why people think she isn't going to do well, it's coming off the back of a 500K+ selling album and a huge #1 single

That hasn't stopped the likes of Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Black Eyed Peas and others get a hit before. This'll do fine, it'll go down really well with the general public ... probably even has a shot at #01 tbh.

The video should get it's release this week. She also performing this song on Cheryl Cole's own show Cheryl Cole's Night In. With two things she doing for promotion this week, the song should rise up rapidly the iTunes chart. :D
