Now that 3OH!3 are outselling Lady GaGa I'm not nearly as upset about RATM. I wouldn't have won the bet anyway.

Go RATM! Even though I like Joe, it is quite funny to see this happening.

agree, although I still expect GaGa to be at #3 on Sunday with 3OH!3 at #4 or 5

that would make no sense as it is not like tesco is trying to become a single cd seller, it only has what 2 or 3 the whole year. you do a loss leader to get people hooked/used to the product so they keep coming back, in a couple of months tesco will be back to having no cd singles in stores

The idea is people come to buy the CD cheaper and also do their christmas food shopping.

What are you talking about? EVERY betting site I have been on for the last hour still has RATM as the clear favourite. Could you provide a link?

I provided a link with the initial post back on the last page.

i highly doubt anyone will go out of their way to go to tesco for a cd single, anyone that does will be a 15 year old girl who aint doing a weekly shop as well. at this time of year supermarkets are packed with people they would be better selling it for £3.99 and gaining the money from it as casual buyers pick up copies.

Wow, that sudden shift in the bookies odds means its almost certain they know something we don't.

Joe is back in the race - all of a sudden (after Rage extending today and being almost certs for the #1 spot), the mids tomorrow are back to being VERY important again. :o :o

It wasn't 99p in my local Tesco it was 3.50

Glee Cast is far from doing the same impact than in the US, surprising :o

It is such a good song and their voices are really good, i am not suprised it is gaining sales.

The Glee show is on one of the main channels in America whereas over here it is relegated to E4 so it wont have the same impact.
Agreed, it will get it's big impact in 2010 when it's transferred to C4... probably.

Wow, RATM are about, 110% ahead?. Joe will have to better Alex's 50% cd sales if he's to win out.

Muppets top 20

HMV are reporting Joe had a huge day! We need figures arrrgh!

I reckon it will be a smaller gap tomorrow. Maybe 40k! arrrgh!

There's something not right about that RATM lead. It's getting to the point that its becoming too unrealistic now. Are some big donors out there something? I can't believe there are going to be 500,000 different people buying this. "When I get home from work I must buy that RATM single to stop Simon Cowell!"

Please.

Could you imagine that there some people sitting behind their computers buying this over a 100 times a day?? HAHA
