December 18, 200916 yr "Rage Against the Machine" need to sell another 200k if they want #1 - not gonna happen guys :( And if it had been downloads only, Simon Cowell would have released the CD single as a download (EP1), and some Jason Nevins remixes (EP2) They won't require that many. Neither is going to sell half a million now.
December 18, 200916 yr Where is Rage Against The Machine's self titled album please? I'll be astounded if it's not top 40...
December 18, 200916 yr The RAGE campaigners should download the live version on the live album. It will count and not seen as a duplicate by OCC. I doubt they will do this however as they seem pretty clueless about the OCC side of things. Put this on the Facebook page.
December 18, 200916 yr Also, could we see the biggest ever fall from number 1 if they do manage it? Or indeed from number 2? I think so! if it does happen, Joe will probably climb to number 1 the week after, whereas Rage will be out of the top 40 within 3 weeks
December 18, 200916 yr Put this on the Facebook page. You can't. There is no coordination or knowledge to this campaign. The facebook page is still unclear about buying from amazon, when it is clear that amazon will count. Both Amazon and OCC have said so. Never mind as least the amateurish of it all shows it is an grass root amateur movement and not something done by Sony. Edited December 18, 200916 yr by Xmas presence

December 18, 200916 yr Author Also, could we see the biggest ever fall from number 1 if they do manage it? Or indeed from number 2? I can't see Rage falling fast, people will be redeeming their iTunes vouchers after Christmas, it still could go to #1 in the new year

December 18, 200916 yr Author Thank you for mini-update. Do you have any information about gap between no.3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8? The mini update has been revamped a bit, I noticed a few acts falling not climbing.

December 18, 200916 yr Wow - Joe has caught up very quickly. I think he will get to number 1 by Sunday. Tomorrow, shoppers will go to Sainsbury's / Tesco / ASDA and see the CD and buy it as a stocking filler.

I think so too and fingers crossed that horrible RATM song doesnt make it to number one :puke2:
December 18, 200916 yr Interesting post on the FB board... www.facebook.com/topic.php?uid=2228594104&topic=14532
December 18, 200916 yr Here is what I find interesting - be interested in anyone else's views on this: Xfactor Final peaked at 19million viewers and yet has so far only shifted 300k of singles - that's approximately 1 in 60 people who watched buying it - surely that is a terrible ratio? Does this prove that it is the wrong song - or do people just utterly disengage from the show once it is finished?

What an unwanted present :puke2: If we mass-bin the Joe single will it decrease sales?
