OMFG

We Like To Party and Up & Down are beyond amazing.

I still love the Vengaboys a little, they are always good for a bit of nostalgia. If my iPod wasn't f***ed i could have listened to them, alas i haven't managed to get the Venga's back on yet :(

That sucks, I'm redoing my playlist as we speak, I might put The Party Album on for a little bit of a counterpoint to all the Eurovision songs

*checks iPod* I have these Vengaboys songs on mine;

We Like To Party

Boom Boom Boom Boom

We're Going To Ibiza

Forever Is One

I was never a huge fan but I did love Forever Is One (I was probably it's only fan :drama:). There was an instrumental song on one of their albums which was near identical to an instrumental song called Everything Begins With An E on Alice Deejay's album. It was the same producers but that was a cheeky trick to pull seeing as they were completely different bands!

Vengaboys - 48 Hours

Alice Deejay - Everything Begins With An E

Is it the original four members still? I used to be absoluetly Vengaboys mad! Although in my defence I was about 5 when Boom came out. Haha I used to love the ginger girl for some reason.

On my ipod I have

We Like To Party

Boom, Boom, Boom, Boom

We're Going To Ibiza

Sha La La La La

Kiss (When The Sun Don't Shine)

Uncle John From Jamaica

Forever As One

I also used to think Kiss was called Kiss (Where the sun don't shine) :kink:

I loved Vengaboys. Think I was in Year 3 in Primary school when they first appeared. We Like To Party was awesome and I really liked Cheekah Bow Wow for some reason - not so keen on it now

Looking forward to hearing their new material :D

I only like these ones:

Up & Down

Boom Boom Boom Boom

Kiss

Uncle John From Jamaica

They were uber cheesy, but for some reason they were considered cool by my classmates

 This is going to be hilarious! Perhaps one of the most interesting things to happen in music this year :P . I'm anticipating to hear it, but I very much doubt that it'll be anything special  . So many innuendos could be made about the title "Rocket to Uranus" :P ... Or is that just me and my dirty mind? Anyway, it does sound like it's going to be an awfully gay song.
  • 5 weeks later...

Trailer for the video - seems to feature Perez Hilton and Pete Burns  Great! :drama:

Ewww. With thos 2 trainrecks, they've put me off the song completely, even before listening to it.

Same here, I can't think of two people I despise more personally :(

Me too   But they seem to have like, one, original member. Amazing that AATW have picked it up already tho.

Me three. Vile, vile guys!

Sounds awful and hideous and a massive #156 smash in the making.

I can't believe they're actually attempting a comeback a decade after they lost any relevance they had. I came to this conclusion after getting over the laughter the title provided me with. They were good back in the day but returning now is a bit like Steps or S Club 7 reuniting

Actually, I'd say it's more like Snap or 2 Untalented reuniting....LOL...

Vengaboys were a joke to any serious fan of Dance Music and Club culture when they started, now, they're just plain embarrassing and desperate.... And that title, oh, please, stop, my sides are splitting from the humourous double entendre... NOT..... -_-

Dont exactly think that the likes of Pendulum or Faithless have got much to worry about....

Steps reforming would be epic  I'm still reserving judgement on this.

looks like the video is going to be absolutely horrific and dreadfully cheap, meaning it will be avoided by all the music channels (except Starz they seem to show anything made on a camcorder)

So dissapointed :(
