It's back for a third consecutive year :cheer: Last year Leona Lewis took the crown with 'Run', but who will do it this year?

 

As there have been so many damn number 1's this year, the game will work slightly differently than before. Instead of giving you the whole year's worth of number 1s, it will be done in two halves of 16, and round 1 is for the first 16 number 1s of the year. This will stay open for you to vote until Wednesday December 23rd when Round 2 will kick off (as by then it will be obvious if Joe will be having a first/second week). After this, Round 2 will start for the second half of the year.

 

The top 10 tracks from each half will qualify to make the best 20 of the year for you to vote on. The results of 32nd-21st will also be posted at this time.

 

Voting works as follows, take your favourite 10 tracks from the first 16 of 2009 and give them points as follows:

 

100 = Favourite

90 = 2nd favourite

80 = 3rd favourite

 

etc..

 

You may also give -10 to your least favourite track, but this is not compulsory.

 

You have until 23rd December when Round 2 will kick off.

 

I know that was kind of confusing but it will all make sense.

 

Oh, and 'Hallelujah' doesnt count as it first hit #1 in 2008.
