Posted December 28, 200915 yr Apparently Hard is to be the second single release from Rated R instead of Wait Your Turn or Rude Boy. God choice or bad? Get predicting. Watch the music video here : Edited December 28, 200915 yr by trunkman
December 28, 200915 yr I thaught Rude Boy was the second UK single and Hard the second US single? Edited December 28, 200915 yr by Chriss_S
December 28, 200915 yr Well it deserves to be #1 foreverrrrr. Best song of 2009, no competition imo. I think it'll just scrape top 10, maybe #8 or #9, but it deserves SO much more! And Dave, the album's already sold over 220,000 with a peak as low as #16, so it's not exactly doing that badly!
December 28, 200915 yr BAD choice, possibly the worst Rihanna single... The video is a bit gagaish but the really bad thing is that the song is poor... When I gave a first quick listen to the album I thought this was a filler. Wait your turn and rude boy are better. I Hope they change their mind again. Because of Rihanna this could get low top10. This 2nd single will probably reduce the albums lifespan. Some people here like it so it could be just me being a 'Cassandra' but I feel this single will only push her further down. Anyway to this goes to the people that like it, what do you like so much about this song?
December 28, 200915 yr idon't know if the UK will get her gritty side so i went for top 10. It will either have overwhelming success or underwhelming success. I doubt it will be a moderate #5 hit for examples. Prefer Rude Boy tbh. And Dave, if you are talking about her mental health, she is no Britters. Her album will rise up i'm sure after the release of Rude Boy.
December 28, 200915 yr I knew it. Rude Boy was supposed to be the second single then now Hard. I think the song is really good and the video. Jay-Z would have better fit in the song than Jeezy. Top 10 for sure. Rude Boy or Firebomb :( should been the second single. Anyway, Photographs is the 3rd single just to let you know. ^_^
December 28, 200915 yr I like it but not sure how well it'll do, top 5 at best i think. I am going for top 5 though.
December 29, 200915 yr Too close to hip-hop for my liking - if it were anyone but her, I'd say it'd miss T10.
January 1, 201015 yr She better not do what she did with her old album, release every signles moreless out of it. :L
January 1, 201015 yr The reason Rihanna isn't doing as well as she has done in the past is because her new album seems depressing. As for the song, I predict a #12 peak. Edited January 1, 201015 yr by simplyobsessed
January 3, 201015 yr This will and should go Top 5...great song and a very solid release from this harsher-sounding album.
January 4, 201015 yr Not sure this is the right choice as the 2nd single in the UK - It also seems to have failed to set the American charts alight so far with its chart run being: 12-21-22-16-20
