Well it is a Kelly Rowland song, but i reckon the sales for all songs played at oxegen will rise

Thanks for the lists above Shaky, I've really enjoyed the Irish charts this year (even more so than UK) but then I usually do anyway. Pleasantly surprised how Train, Edward Maya managed being massive #1s there plus Ireland rarely has non#1s either (only Glee would count this year IMO). Judging by the pop bars on itunes I'd say BOB or Eminem will be the next #1 (or may be Travie McCoy as 2 fake versions are quite high).

 

I wonder who the best seller of the year is so far, it wouldnt surprise me if it was Jedward actually :lol:

well it was 2xPlat in '08

 

but it doesn't say how much it was in '09, but Now 74 is 5x and The E.N.D. is 4x so i'd say along with this years sales its probably 7x Plat overall so about 105,000 overall! :D

There's no sign of I Am... in this years list of Albums that achieved Gold, Platinum or Multi Platinum during the year...

That's because IRMA/Irish Charts only lists the certifications of albums released in that specific year and never in consecutive years. :(

What something sells and what it is certified as selling is not necessarily the same thing! AFAIK the record company has to request the certification....

But with the mammoth chart run that "Sasha Fierce" has done in its chart run & year end chart positions, it's done way more than 2X Platinum as only reported on the site in 2008. It must be at 6-7X Platinum, minimum!
