December 18, 201014 yr Is that Biffy's first ever Irish top 50 hit? Hopefully this profile boost can let them do well with their next era in Ireland. :D
December 18, 201014 yr 1/6th of the population! :o 24.24% of the UK population watched the 7th result show of the X Factor in the UK. According to Wikipedia viewing figures for the big final haven't been announced but I'd be surprised if they aren't above 25%.

December 18, 201014 yr They said something about the physical being released yesterday when they were on the Late Late Show last night. They also hinted that stocks had already run out... Oh thanks Shaky, certainly likely that could top the chart next week, probably a massive selling top 2 either way. They will be fighting for the year end #1 IMO. Any word if they are counting down the top 40 of the year this year Shaky on 2fm?
December 18, 201014 yr Author The RTE Guide onloy goes up to New Years Eve and there's nothing listed (Larry Gogan is on each day that week between 1 and 3pm). My guess is that they may have something on New Years Day - will confirm when I see the next issue of the RTE Guide.

December 18, 201014 yr Author ShakyFan, at the start of this thread you've listed the 50 single sales of 2009, is this the official countdown? That's the official countdown taking in sales to the very end of the year. The chart counted down on 2FM on Sunday 27th December 2009 missed out sales for the last week or so meaning there were a few small changes (eg: 2FM had Joe McEldery at 3 whereas he was actually no 1).

December 21, 201014 yr Wonder how well Love The Way You Lie is doing over here in comparison to the UK I'd guess it'll be the end of year No.1? (minus x factor of course). I mean, three weeks at no.1 and sixteen weeks in the top ten? :o
