Wasn't sure at the start, but after a few more listens I love it. :D

 

My favourite track out of the whole album is probably Your Biggest Mistake, however Starry Eyed, Everytime You Go and The Writer are also amazing! My favourites will probably change all the time. :P

This album's definitely a grower...I never liked the demo of Wish I Stayed overmuch but I absolutely love the new album version now - also loving Guns Horses and The Writer :wub: The intro of Your Biggest Mistake is great, like something out of a 60's road movie or something :lol:

 

Starry Eyed is probably one of my least favourite tracks on here funnily enough :o

It's a good album for a debut. The production is excellent. I assume it will grow on me.

Don't get this album at all. It's like they removed any personality her music had before and replaced it with blips and wishy washy beats.

 

I still love Under The Sheets and Starry Eyed but the rest all turn into one big mush. The only standout for me is This Love (Will Be Your Downfall). And what they've done to Wish I Stayed is shocking.

Why isn't 'Lights' on the album? Rubbish :(

It definitely should be more than just an iTunes bonus track, it's much etter than a lot of the songs on the album imo. :wub:

Guns And Horses is one of the three best tracks on this for me so I think it's a good choice.

 

I've given this album a few more listens as I really wanted to like it but it's just not happening. :(

I hope "This Love" is a single sometime, it's absolutely fantastic :thumbsup:

I completely adore this album now. Every song is either 9 or 10 out of 10 for me :wub:

this album couldn't not be number 1 :wub: every song on there is amazing, while all being growers. each song, like some people have said, gets either 9, 10 or even 11 from me! :D 'your biggest mistake' especially.

Guns and Horses is the weakest track on it. I do like The Writer but Wish I Stayed is my fave apart from the two singles.

Guns and Horses was always going to be a single. Just like This Love will be the 4th single. Then if there's a 5th single, it will probably be a re-release of Under The Sheets.

 

I love The Writer but I just can't see it being a single.

Listened the whole way through again this morning. Guns and Horses may well be commercial but it's the least interesting track as far as I'm concerned.

"Guns and Horses" was always my favourite before the album and was the song that made me more interested in her. I've grown to like the album version, but I don't feel the same about it. I'm looking forward to it being a single though, for the video, it's still one of my favourites as well.

 

I wouldn't say it's the least interesting track. I think the good thing about her picking 10 tracks is that all of them are pretty strong (I wouldn't call any filler) but my least interesting would probably be "I'll Hold My Breath" or "Wish I Stayed".
