If RedOne is saying that I hope they are going to rework it slightly, I prefer her live version(The Paul O'Grady Show).Love it though it may be her biggest seller off Overcome.

Alex just said on her webchat they haven't decided the next single and won't until after Broken Heels is released.

This song would be perfect as the next single. Hopefully it is.

i don't see the attraction with this song - its so bland and dated sounding. all night long or good night, good morning should be the next two.

On her Myspace webchat she said that a final decision has not been made about the next single.I am sure it depends on how well Broken Heels does, if it is a smash then I am sure it will be another uptempo song.The attraction of The Silence is how beautifully Alex sings it live and the lyrics.

Ah ok, I thought someone at the start of this thread said it was Tedder. RedOne producing a ballad explains the naffness. He's only good at ballads when he's using synth steel drums.

Ballads nearly always sell albums far better than uptempo'd releases. So if 'Broken Heels' did so much for the album, just imagine how much a ballad release will help it. Surely back in the top10?

I know. This Leona business is ridculous. Why won't the release the video. I mean it was made more than two months ago. I think I Got You scrape the top 40 at this rate. :(

I think Leona needs to become more take charge and start taking more control. I know the Syco team is small but they are loosing momentum with her.I think the video is out on Monday and I hope her performance tonight on SYTYCD will at least push it to Top 50 on itunes.What do people think of The Sun taking Alex to Haiti to highlight what is happening, it leaves me very uneasy.She is due to go on Monday.

I can see them going with a ballad for the next release after 2 upbeat singles and i think they know a ballad will more than likely push album sales more so than another upbeat single.
