February 8, 201015 yr I just hope they do the right thing with the video, not just that it is out in time but it is a real story and Alex has updated her look.If anyone posts on Alex forums there is a new one that is rather good. http://www.thexfactorforums.com/
February 16, 201015 yr The Silence is my fav song off the album so hope this is true n will get released
February 16, 201015 yr I wanted Good Night Good Morning to be the next single. But this really good. Just stunning vocals makes me shed a tear.
February 17, 201015 yr Alex has finally confirmed that The Silence is the next single and she starts work on the video this weekend. http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/newsid_8...800/8520806.stm
February 17, 201015 yr Thank the lord we have definite confirmation. The singles have been pretty much perfectly chosen in the perfect order so far.
February 17, 201015 yr Thank the lord we have definite confirmation. The singles have been pretty much perfectly chosen in the perfect order so far. I completely agree with you (IF 'All Night Long' is the fourth single. It must be!).
February 17, 201015 yr ^ It better be seeing as it's by far the best song on the album imo. I understand why they've gone for this, although they should've gone with it 2nd then 'Broken Heels' maybe. :P
February 18, 201015 yr I must be one of the few people who doesn't think this shows her voice in the best light. I'm not quite sure what it is, but I think she sounds a bit raspy on some of the "don't let the silence. DO THE TALKING" bits. I do love the lyrics, just not so keen on the vocal. My favourite ballad is "Overcome", as generic as it is. (I'm sure it's melody is familiar)
February 18, 201015 yr Ahhh, this is great news  Must go top 3 at least, best song on the album by a long shot

(I'm sure it's melody is familiar) I do agree with you to a certain extent I did not like The Silence until I heard her sing it live on the Paul O Grady show, it actually sounded different to the album version and she was note perfect.Apparently she found it hard recording The Silence because it is very personal.I much prefer Overcome it is a really good tune she has though reworked it for the American release. The Silence though seems to be the fan favorite.
February 18, 201015 yr Glad this is being released as it will show a different side to her.. not sure how well it will chart.. but it will boost her album sales
February 18, 201015 yr It definatly wouldnt be my first choice of next single and I agree with Aaron tbh, Overcome would have been better.
February 18, 201015 yr Overcome is too generic I think. At least this has more of a unique sound. I agree with Aaron though about her strained vocals. They're very annoying and she doesn't strain when she sings it live because she brings the key down a bit.
February 18, 201015 yr I love her voice on this. It gives the song a more personal feel and you could tell, before she said it in interviews etc..., that it would be personal to her. It's a stunning song and am completely over the moon it's released next! Hopefully another top 10 hit for her! Oh and I also agree with Cremey and Jack. 'All Night Long' must be fourth!
February 18, 201015 yr I love this song, definitely the best ballad on the album  I hope it goes Top 5.
February 18, 201015 yr See it just going Top 20 unfortunately, maybe similar to 'Cry Me Out' and 'Playing With Fire'. The general public are sadly too busy bumming JLS to take notice of her atm. :(
February 19, 201015 yr See it just going Top 20 unfortunately, maybe similar to 'Cry Me Out' and 'Playing With Fire'. The general public are sadly too busy bumming JLS to take notice of her atm. :( i really dont think that is fair thing to say jls are doing good but alexandra is being sucessfull as well i love this song it should definatly be top 5
February 19, 201015 yr JLS may be selling more but I'd say Alex has the upper hand. Alex is more likely to be sucsessful in the long-run than JLS who still need to be able to prove they wont be a here-today-gone-tomorrow boyband.
