January 30, 201015 yr I don't think the release date will change anything to its total sales. People will buy it for its purpose, no matter if it gets released one week earlier or later. Especially since there will be a big promo push on its release week from all the artists involved (TV interviews, internet marketing, etc).
January 30, 201015 yr The video was recorded when the people recorded their vocals, it's basically going to be shots of the singers at the recording micI think they're trying to get a "band aid" sorta feel to it.

January 30, 201015 yr What's his signature got to do with ANYTHING?! Yes please could you explain us what was the point of your comment?
January 30, 201015 yr Some of you - complaining that it's "too late" and "they need our help now, not February". They will need our help for the next 20 years! And "it's not in the news as much". Well at least they haven't canned it because you may think it's not in the news. No doubt it'll earn a lot of money and HELP HAITI. That's what it's all about.

Well at least they haven't canned it because you may think it's not in the news. No doubt it'll earn a lot of money and HELP HAITI. That's what it's all about. Agreed. But surely the best way of helping is to maximise the amount of money raised for the cause. Therefore, as Haiti drops down the news stories and gains less publicity, then the chances of selling as many records decreases because public interest decreases. After all Simon Cowell's X-Factor winning songs are rush released on downloads after the series' end (with the physical single following later that same week) to maximise financial gain and record sales, so considering this single has been ready since Wednesday then I don't understand why it was not made immediately available on Thursday to buy. You only have to see how this year's X-Factor winning single is dropping down the charts as memories of the last series fade as evidence of that. It also seriously risks being gazumped by Quincy Jones & the Grammy organisers remake (USA For Haiti) of the Michael Jackson penned (with lyrical help from Lionel Richie) "We Are The World 25" where today on USA Entertainment World they have promised that the line up to be revealed on Monday "will be every bit as stellar" as the line up on the original, which is being recorded that day, the day after the Grammys; with the aim of releasing it as soon as possible.
January 30, 201015 yr People are you kidding with help now? Are you aware that there is already a lot of money and help for now but if the poeple stop giving after two weeks, there is nothing done? I come from a country striken by a such a catastrophe, was not so bad, not so many people died. But we needed years!!! to build back. You don't make a house, school and hospitals in a week but in a long time. The money have to come also then. Just helping one or two weeks and get away after that is like not helping at all. This country is not that kind that needs only a little help now to get over a bad situation, as they are to poor to help themself afterwards. They will need to eat also in one month time. They will need meds also in one month time.
January 30, 201015 yr Yeah, this isn't just a case of giving a lot of aid for a short time and then nothing because it's old news, so the single not coming until next week is more than fine. :)
January 30, 201015 yr It's going to the DEC anyway, they help with natural disasters across the world, this won't be the last earthquake to hit the world so it's going to help people, in Haiti or elsewhere - even if they don't know they need it yet
January 30, 201015 yr I heard that Kylie Minogue is also on this record does anyone know if thats true?
January 30, 201015 yr Yes, she was the last to record - http://www.ok.co.uk/celebnews/view/18259/K...ings-for-Haiti/

February 1, 201015 yr Who is singing what, despite the pictures it seems only two of JLS are singing something, same with Take That and Westlife. Joe gets to do backing vocals.. Leona Lewis When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone, Rod Stewart When you’re sure you’ve had enough of this life, well hang on Mariah Carey Don’t let yourself go, ‘cause everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes Cheryl Cole Sometimes everything is wrong. Mika Now it’s time to sing along Michael Buble When your day is night alone, Joe McElderry (hold on, hold on) Miley Cyrus If you feel like letting go James Blunt If you think you’ve had too much of this, well hang on.. Gary Barlow ‘Cause everybody hurts.. Mark Owen Take Comfort in your friends Jon Bon Jovi Don’t throw your hand James Morrison Don’t throw your hand Alexandra Burke and James Morrison If you feel like you’re alone, no, no, no, you are not alone Susan Boyle If you’re on your own in this life, the days and nights are long, Aston Merrygold When you think you’ve had too much of this life to Marvin Humes hang on Shayne Filan Well, everybody hurts sometimes, Mark Feehily Everybody cries Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams And everybody hurts sometimes (Song then shared between Robbie & Kylie)
