"Put It In A Love Song" is definitely one of my favourite songs by Alicia! :heart: On the first hearing I loved it! :wub: And its insanely catchy. I think it'd be a good summer single and it'd potentially be a great club song :dancing: .

Can't believe how successful this era is for Alicia in the UK but it's well deserved as the current album is by far her strongest! :D :D

The song's been pushed back until the Summer as she wants to release "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)" first. We should receive the video near then.

Yeah, it officially went for adds in January but flopped massively. They shot a video, but decided to send "Unthinkable (I'm Ready)" for adds. It definitely worked in their favor, with "Unthinkable" becoming her biggest U.S. hit this era. They're seemingly going to brush the original release under the carpet and attempt to release the song again in the summer. It may be more of a hit the second time round with an official release of the video, but I don't think it'll do much based on the original lukewarm reaction to the track.

Will definitely get top 10 in the UK though! :)

Isn't she supposed to be Re-Releasing the album? Makes sense then I suppose. Not that it needs to be re-released, but it'll help boost overall album sales to over 1 million I guess. It worked for Rihanna & Amy Winehouse, so I suppose and hope it would work for Alicia. :wub:

Well it looks like this won't get a release anywhere now. I think it's a shame, the song has a summer feel to it and I think it could have been quite a hit. -_-

I'm kind of glad it won't be released. Severley overrated and kind of simple if you ask me.

I want to see the video! Bet it will get Top 20 here, with that alone tbh!
