So shocked this happen.

Noisettes derserved the top spot with the infectous Don't Upset The Rhythm. Don't Stop The Rhythm was one of best tunes of 2009. I mean I love Lady Gaga  and I LOVE POKER FACE!   But come on Noisettes derserved at least one week at the top the charts. The band itself is awesome too. :(

Kid Cudi vs Crookers - Day n Nite, one of the best dance tracks of 2009 was beaten by Just Dance which is also great song but not even close to Day n Nite

The Script are atrocious in my opinion so I dont really agree. The guy has an horrendous croak of a voice that is all the worst bits of Sting and Bono.

Manic Street Preachers - Empty Souls - kept of number 1 by one of the Elvis re-issues.

Rule the World - held of by the attrocity that was Bleeding Love. It didn't even have a tune.

oh, this is easy. ^_^

avril lavigne could have had her first UK number 1 with 'girlfriend' if it wasn't for the stupid charity single by andy pipkin and the proclaimers! <_<

another victim is kate nash, where 'foundations' lost to timbaland and keri hilson. 'the way I are' was alright but 'foundations' was one of the highlights of 2007! :(

and last year, la roux - 'in for the kill' lost to tinchy stryder. made me cringe. -_-

rihanna - 'russian roulette' last year also lost to a $h!t charity single, the children in need medley.

Agree with all of these! :(

Nothing will ever beat the injustice of Vienna by Ultravox being kept off the top by the utter dreck that was Joe Dolce's ... no, I can't bring myself to name the song. It's still too painful.

Agree with the last two but Golden Brown was beaten by A Town Called Malice. Will we ever see a top two as good as that again?

The pop whore in me wants to mention Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other Man and Shakira - Hips Don't Lie. Although I was majorly pissed at the time seeing as HDL had already had its turn :(

DJ Jurgen & Alice Deejay 'Better Off Alone' kept off the no. 1 spot by Ronan Keating 'When You Say Nothing At All', Westlife 'If I Let You Go' and Geri Halliwell 'Mi Chico Latino'. Terrible!!! -_-
I'm new to Digital Spy but at first glance it seems woefully ill-informed.
