January 28, 201015 yr Perez Prado - Guaglione beaten by Robson & Jerome (would have been a spectacular record-breaker if it had made it) S Club - Say Goodbye beaten by R Kelly Madonna - Hollywood and Benny Benassi - Satisfaction beaten by Beyonce Eric Prydz vs Floyd - Proper Education beaten (narrowly) by Leona Lewis Eric Prydz - Pjanoo beaten by Katy Perry And of course all of the songs that you-know-who prevented from reaching #1 (especially Right Here Right Now and The Saints Are Coming).
January 29, 201015 yr Confide in me..should have got to no1 but it was kept off by the awful wet wet wet song which seemed to hang around for absolutely ages
January 30, 201015 yr Mariah's 'We Belong Together' beaten by stupid Tupac and Elton John - travesty! Oh yes, that's gotta one of the biggest injustices in pop history, I love WBT i still listen to it all the time!
January 30, 201015 yr Oh yeah. Missed out RiRi. She deserved a number one with Russian Roulette. Yep, that has the biggest injustice ever in chart history, i sooo thought RiRi would snatch that no.1 from Peter Kay after her X-Factor performance, i almost cried when she lost out!
January 30, 201015 yr Is it safe to say that Shakira's "Whenever wherever" was better than that Will Young record? Definetley, Will sold something 1.2 million in first week :o, that song is terrible imo, i still can;t get over that it was the biggest seller of the noughties! It sold most of it's total copies in the first week, only 600,000 in it's remaining chart run
February 1, 201015 yr Of course one of the biggest injustices in chart history was Oasis' 'Wonderwall' being beaten by Robson and Jerome- cant even remember what song they murdered! Another one of course was The Pogues 'Fairytale of New York' beaten by the Pet Shop Boys 'Always on my mind'- PSBs made some great records, but that was not one of them! what really pisses me off is Coldplays 'Speed of Sound' being beaten by Crazy Frogs 'Axel F'- It wasnt coldplays best and CF is a guilty pleasure, but come on! All of the above as well as ‘Vienna’ by Ultravox (held off No1 by ‘Shaddapa Your Face’ by Joe Dolce in 1981) and ‘Question’ by the Moody Blues (held off No1 by ‘Back Home’ by the England World Cup Squad in 1970). Sonique - Sky and Kylie - On A Night Like This kept of the top by Modjo Was that 'Lady Hear Me Tonight'? If so, I think that's much better than those two other songs.
February 2, 201015 yr Is it safe to say that Shakira's "Whenever wherever" was better than that Will Young record? That was a few bad weeks to release, maybe 2 weeks before and she would've had 2 weeks at no.1 :(
February 2, 201015 yr That monstrocity of Chipmunk beat amazing FOREVER IS OVER :) Oopsy Daisy is 1000 times better than that generic comeback single in my opinion :(

February 2, 201015 yr Oopsy Daisy is 1000 times better than that generic comeback single in my opinion WHAT? FIO is soo amazing wheras that piece of $h!t got to number one easily:(
February 2, 201015 yr The No.1 wasn't bad (Pet Shop Boys "Always On My Mind") but The Pogues featuring Kirsty MacColl "Fairytale of New York"
February 2, 201015 yr Off the top of my head, other than some of the previously mentioned ones; Mutya Buena - Real Girl. Kept off the top by Umbrella. I really f***ing hated that song.
