lol - I think JLS are already more credible than Alexandra - at least they're not tied with Syco $hit. You have much more scope when you are offered a contract anywhere else.

Besides, look at her interviews: Simon is great. Simon is always right. Simon is amazing. (Sort of brainwashing isn't it)

 

I am sure when JLS can actually move beyond being a boyband whose fans consist of hormonal teenage girls then maybe you can talk about credibility.Alex always has been positioned to not just be a UK act but someone who can be launched internationally which is what Syco are doing with her.Sadly boybands hardly manage to cling onto long term careers because teen fans grow up and move on.No one is denying that JLS have outsold everyone of the competitors Cheryl, Leona and Alex in terms of album sales for now.This has yet to be matched in single sales in the uk and abroad though and considering that Alex is currently No 7 in Norway, No 8 in Sweden No 11 in Finland and No 6 and 12 in Belgium and No 22 in Switzerland, 23 in the Netherlands with Badboys it will be interesting to see if JLS can have any international success.Alex is also currently the MTV Latin American Push performer of the month and starts an American promotional tour this month.MTV79 you clearly do not like her for whatever personal reasons you have but her success speaks for itself.

You have a go at me and say Im as bad as the JLS teen fans when I compared Alex and JLS..

I dont really like Alex.. but I know she has talent and is doing well and so wouldnt criticize her.. so tbh I think most Alex fans need to do the same

Hopefully JLS can drift from their current music and become more mature and the new Boyz II Men which they were seen as when introduced on XF.

 

I know it seems i'm a "hater" but i just hate their music and the vast majority of their fan base. They could potentially be immense and credible.

 

Likewise, Alex could have far more inventive and original material but her music is still great and she can't be marketed as similar to Leona due to the unnecessary comparisons.

I agree with Ricky they could easily be the new more Urban sounding Westlife, unless Aston fancies his chances at doing a Robbie, Geri, Cheryl, Ronan ... effectively breaking the band up.
