How annoying that K$ won't get the #1 again, despite huge sales. Of course, sales are what we want to see her touring and promoting, but it would be nice if she had the biggest seller for a few weeks. I don't think there are actually many more commercial songs on her album, YLIMD and TT are the only two. Love it or hate it, BBB will be everywhere.

Wasnt Imma be one of the tracks they released early before the album was out, you would think that would ruin its chance of a single release.

Rihanna should do really well once the video is out.

Yes, it was part of The Countdown to 'The E.N.D', but so was 'Meet Me Halfway' and that done amazing.

can someone update the itunes popularity bars, cos it hasn't been updated since last night. thanks
rude boy upto #14, i cant wait for the video and this to explode.

thats amazing, the song is epic!

Guys please don't buy this Haiti song:

I just bought Everybody Hurts, Help for Haiti CD single in Tesco Metro in Newbury - should this have been allowed? I thought it was out next week? They had stacks of them (not impressed that only "at least £1 is donated" but there you go).
Guys please don't buy this Haiti song:

Why is that a reason to not buy the Haiti song? :/ As I've said COUNTLESS times to you so far, and you have yet to come up with an adequate response to, how does £1 going to Haiti from the price mean that they're making a profit from it? The rest could easily go to meeting costs/overheads etc...

C'mon Rude Boy, Boy can get up the bloody chart overtake that stupid Jay-Z and Katy Perry copycat Marina and Jay :puke: Sean

How is Marina a Katy Perry copycat in ANY way whatsoever, other than looking vaguely like her? :/

Rock That Body up to 137, Imma Be up to 205. Wonder if they will both go into the chart together like Hard and Rude Boy.

I think they meant, don't buy it if you see it THIS week. Buy it next week.

Nope. He meant don't buy it at all.

It seems Glee being shown on E4 helps 'Don't Stop Believin'' :heehee: It's back up to number 3

'Blah, Blah, Blah' now 15! :o This has climbed quicker than 'Telephone' has it not?

that glee version of DSB will be top 5 until the series is over - not that thats a good thing in my book lol!!

It's no.5 atm according to itunes anyway, and Alicia Keys is gaining.

The irony being more people would download 'Blah Blah Blah' if a video was on the music channels right now. That's seemingly how people buy music these days. Haven't got a high budget music video? Flop!!!

thats exactly the point i was trying to make earlier in the post - it is bad for the uk charts to be dominated by mtv airplay because they will only play songs with good videos and 'beautiful' people singing in them!! it simply means rihanna, britney, jls and co will constantlyt have top 40 hits no matter what the song is - take a look at songs which climb the top 40 before release once the video airplay kicks in they rise like mad - for example rihanna and jls current singles!!

Actually Glee is a welcome change IMO in the chart - along with Marina & The Diamonds and Hot Chip they're probably the best thing there. The charts really have to be the worst I've ever seen them, and I've been following them since 1998. Any old urban crap shoots up the chart (I mean, BedRock!?), while far superior songs from other genres struggle to get anywhere. :(

So yes, the Glee songs are perfectly welcome in my book. Heaven knows we need a bit of variety.

again this is because of mtv airplay -0 rnb songs tend to show more woman going about with barely any clothes on so get more airplay!!
