That said, 'Telephone' is far superior to 'Video Phone' and with a great video I'm sure this will at least go top 10.

Just noticed that Inna (Hot) has been made album only already, the record company are being very quick and obviously want/think it can be a big hit. I was kinda surprised Radio1 havent officially playlisted it yet. I think it has the potential to go top 5 at least.

 

Great for Timbaland, really loving at the mo so glad its doing well.

How in god's name is Marina a Katy Perry copycat?! Gee whizz, the comments I read on here get more ridiculous...

Now, if 'Blah, Blah, Blah' manages to reach Number 1, then that should mean half the album should be number 1 for at least 4 weeks each! :( She has so much better on the album :( Ah well at least it's looking to be another smash for her :D

Not quite sure how Blah Blah Blah is doing so well. She has so many better songs on the album, and the song itself is frankly very annoying...

Right, just because B and gaga are at 42 doesnt necessarily mean a flop? lady gaga was the biggest star of 2009 and beyonce was near her sucessions ; rube boy may be sitting at 17 now, that just shows how big its gonna be.

Rock That Body will be 1st, I can't see Imma Be doing TOO well atm, until it has promotion, then again being US no.2 is good enough for Britain nowadays :lol:

Why is it 'foolish' to say she's doing well? I would imagine people are unlikely to buy singles due to the BBC Sound poll (which doesn't exactly dictate who will be most successful anyway), and I don't necessarily agree that Hollywood is more accessible than Rabbit Heart, they are both really good songs but to me they have never sounded like potential chart-toppers, whereas Duffy's Mercy and Adele's Chasing Pavements did (I know Adele missed out on #1 thanks to Basshunter but she was close). In fact, Hollywood is performing exactly how I thought it would, and I was surprised to read people on these boards saying they thought it could get to no.1.

 

Have you heard Marina's other songs on her Myspace? They are all very good, but, with the possible exception of Mowgli's Road, none of them sound very chart-friendly. Marina's music does have pop leanings but to me it sounds more leftfield than mainstream - which is no bad thing by any means. I hope her album performs well though, I can't wait to buy it.

I think it's her voice that is putting people off her IMO. But of course it'll make just as many people like her. Her voice is Marmite.

I know right :/ I'd say it's the 3Oh!3 connection as they seem to be flavour of the month atm but still it's a bit lame when like people have said, there's heaps better on the album.
