Can't see:

Daisy Dares You - Number One Enemy

Leona Lewis - I Got You

Sugababes - Wear My Kiss

Alphabeat - Hole In My Heart

...being Top 10 contenders, but I wish Alphabeat reach it. Best single to date.

I can't believe you all seriously think We Are The World: 25 Help For Haiti wont be in the Top 10.

It doesn't have a confirmed release here...

'Stranded' only made #41, I see no reason why WATW25 would be a guaranteed top 10.

Well it's not in the poll and not got a release date. But you are correct if it's available it will be Top10.

edit to add:

BTW I voted for 10 songs and one other! Pretty sure there will be at least one other but no idea what.

It gets its world premiere of the video at the Winter Olympics opening ceremony (Feb 12th) which will be shown by BBC1 and is released (at least in the USA) the following day.

Its produced by RedOne and features the likes Akon; Black Eyed Peas; Justin Bieber; Kid Cudi; Miley Cyrus; Celine Dion; Snoop Dogg; Drake; Josh Groban; Keri Hilson; Jennifer Hudson; Enrique Iglesias; Janet Jackson; Jonas Brothers; Maroon 5; Jason Mraz; P!nk; A. R. Rahman; Nicole Scherzinger; Jordin Sparks; Barbra Streisand; T-Pain; Rob Thomas; Usher; Lil Wayne & Kanye West. Plus other as yet unnamed acts (but definitely not Lady Gaga :( ) who did not record their lead vocals at the main recording session and you think this wont go top 10.

Sugababes - Wear My Kiss

It's not going to be top10 this week is it. Perhaps it will be Top10 the week before?

I honestly can't see it not being Top 10. It'll sell better than AAG in the first week due to more promotion do it's going to do at least 40k.

Yep, I totally forgot about We Are The World 25...

At the same time I don't think Taio will do anything which is a shame, it's such a good song.

Black Eyed Peas... I don't think they will get Top10 with RTB so early.

I can see it selling 40K and still not being Top10.

I didn't say I think it won't go top ten, but it's by no means guaranteed top ten. Nothing is though.

I knew the 22nd would be a tough week by wow! I had no idea there was potentially 16 songs looking for a top 10 posistion. For people like Sugababes, Leona and Daisy, surely some of them will change the release date?

Realistically the only one who doesnt have a chance in hoping hell is Alphabeat

In no paricular order the top 10 will consisit of: Haiti Relief, Kesha, Leona Lewis, Owl City, Timbaland, Lady GaGa, JLS, Ellie, Alicia & Rihanna or Glee. Daisy Dares You and Sugababes will be at the #12/#13 posistions.

Alternate #1

1) Haiti Relief - Everybody Hurts

2) Rihanna – Rude Boy (kept from the No.1 spot by another charity single :kink:)

3) Daisy Dares You – Number One Enemy

4) Lady GaGa & Beyonce - Telephone (if video is released and Beyonce and Lady GaGa perform at the Brits)

5) Owl City - Fireflies

6) Timbaland feat. Katy Perry – If We Ever Meet Again

7) Sugababes – Wear My Kiss

8) Ke$ha feat. 3OH!3 – Blah Blah Blah

9) Leona Lewis – I Got You

10) JLS - One Shot

Alternate #2

If 'We Are The World' is released then I think it will go something like this,

1) 25 for Haiti - We Are The World

2) Haiti Relief - Everybody Hurts

3) Rihanna – Rude Boy

4) Daisy Dares You – Number One Enemy

5) Lady GaGa & Beyonce - Telephone

6) Owl City - Fireflies

7) Timbaland feat. Katy Perry – If We Ever Meet Again

8) Sugababes – Wear My Kiss

9) Ke$ha feat. 3OH!3 – Blah Blah Blah

10) Leona Lewis – I Got You

Alternate #3

This is what I think will happen, 'We Are World' won't be released here until March and the video for Telephone also won't premiere until March, so this is how I think the Top 10 will pan out (which is how I voted)

1) Haiti Relief - Everybody Hurts

2) Rihanna – Rude Boy

3) Daisy Dares You – Number One Enemy

4) Owl City - Fireflies

5) Timbaland feat. Katy Perry – If We Ever Meet Again

6) Sugababes – Wear My Kiss

7) Ke$ha feat. 3OH!3 – Blah Blah Blah

8) Leona Lewis – I Got You

9) JLS - One Shot

10) Jason DeRulo - In My Head

However, going by the legs Glee are showing on iTunes at the moment, and the boost DSB gets after an episode airs, I wouldn't be surpised in the slightest if it is still hanging around in the Top 10 after the week of death is over and done with.

Isn't 'Don't Stop Believin'' used again in an episode around this week of release? So it'll probs recieve another boost :heehee:

I feel that the top 10 in no particular order will feature:

Haiti

Timbaland & Katy

Owl City

Ke$ha & 3Oh!3

Rihanna

Lady Gaga & Beyonce

Daisy Dares You

Ellie Goulding

Sugababes

JLS

I just can't see Leona making it into the top 10 somehow.

I can only remember it being sung in the first episode, they never sing a song on the show more than once. Although I may be wrong, it's been a while now since I've watched them. Do E4 still use DSB during adverts for Glee? Then again simply people watching Glee will have a positive knock on effect on sales. It's one of those songs that sticks around even when it's not wanted, like a stubborn stain, but I'm not complaining :kink: I'm thinking it will most likey stay Top 20 until at least May when the first season ends. I'm wondering if that after DSB will they have another Top 10 hit, or will they always sort of peak around #30 and then drop (still decent peaks, considering they normally peak after they air on E4, which is no ITV is it). I hope DSB will be Top 10 on the year end chart, even though that's a pipe dream :(

Anyways I can't see Goulding hitting Top 10, especially after the more hyped Marina didn't, and I can't see it peaking any higher than #12 at most. Leona will almost certainly hit Top 10 on name alone, and it's a much more catchy and commercial song than Happy was, however I think it will be the song to break her string of Top 5 hits. I think the real question is how long will it stick around for and will it do anything for the album, which is more important at the moment than where it peaks. I will be very shocked if it doesn't make it during the week of death.

Alicia should have died down by then (however it has climbed to a new peak on iTunes, has overtaken Ke$ha and with the album heading for No.1 on Sunday it could be here to stay). Jay Sean should go Top 15 and climb in following weeks, Pitbull should go Top 20 and then drop while Alphabeat will be left behind eating their dust in the Top 30 (which they really don't deserve).

I'm taking this poll as a "What will be in the top 10 that week", and not "What will go top 10 - the week doesn't matter", so I think the following will be in the top 10 following the week of death:

Owl City

Ke$ha Ft. 3Oh!3

Leona

Ellie

Jason

I also voted for Lady GaGa Ft. Beyonce, but wasn't it's full release pushed back? Could still be in the top 10 based on being cherry-picked from the album

DSB got sang on Monday for 5 seconds and it got a boost- Its just the public cant get enough of that song, its just completely the song of the moment- Anyway, Im not complaining and like you, I hope Glee finishes high in the YE chart as well, Go Glee! :cheer:

I don't care about these releases. I just want Rude Boy to enter the top ten at least. :teresa:

1. JLS (It pains me to type this)

2. Everyone's Hymen Hurts

3. FireFlies

4. Rude Boy

5. Telephone

6. Blah Blah Blah

7. Wear My Kiss

8. Daisy Dares You

9. Starry-Eyed

10. If We Ever Meet Again
