iTunes Thread Rules:

1 Any Artist bashing will not be tolerated any longer, please keep it in the respectable optional forum or use the PM/MSN facility, otherwise you will receive a warning.

2 ANY POP BARS COMING. They will come when a compiler is available to post, if you are really that desperate for them add them yourself, its not a life or death situation, otherwise be patient.

3 Always keep the thread on topic, don't go off on random with an artist that is not featured in the iTunes chart for the week.

4 smilies post :w00t: , :cheer: , yay!!!!!!!!!!! , yahoo!!!!!!!!!!! etc etc. These kind of posts are not adding anything value to the thread, even 1 word posts, they seem to be pointless. Please refrain from using them.

5 No Personal insults

6 Any stupid comments will be deleted with no reason given by management or the Chart Mod team

Go 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart'! :D Is it getting any video play now then?

Wow i'm glad that thread's been left behind. I said one comment and it turned into a debate...without me

Great for Cheryl, Leona, Geeyonce, Helping Haiti (i guess) and Rihanna.

I'm itching to see Leyonca (how smooth was that? <<) vids

Glee could end up being 2010's most successful selling act without even having a UK no. 1 single. 'DSB' has been a consistant seller so far and will probably continue selling well throughout 2010. All their other singles will probably continue to trickle sell too. If Glee gets another repeat airing later in 2010, that might boost sales again for all their single releases.
Also the Mash-Ups aren't on the soundtrack compilations, so that could be the reason for their success (as well as the fact they're bloody brilliant Mash-Ups too! :P - Shouldn't quite work, but Glee make it work! LOL)
My God, I Gotta Feeling out of the top 40 for the first time in what? 7 months?

But the Glee album is out next week, so hopefully all the Gleeks will buy that so the singles can clear off out of the charts!

if nothing else it made me realise that I'd love Halo a lot more if the tempo was faster! and anything to remind the world of Katrina and the Waves is a good thing in my book :P

HAHA! I wouldn't bet on that too much :P Cherry pickers will be out in force for 'Don't Stop Believin'' & 'Somebody To Love' :kink: (Well more than likely anyway :heehee:)

Surely albums now have the reverse effect. If anything, it'll encourage more cherry picking and more individual tracks entering the top 75.

Has Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart been given an official release yet? It really is WONDERFUL, but Alicia's unlucky in that it's being totally overshadowed by ESOM. I hope she holds back and tries for another release later. It's the most interesting single she's recorded so far.

I agree 100% 'TSWABH' is sublime and nearly as excellent as 'Fallin' which is still my fave Alicia Keys single to date.

ESOM II is her current (second) single.

As far as anyone is aware, TSWABH is third, but I have a bad feeling they'll skip it and go straight to 'Put It In A Love Song'... that's a good song and all but TSWABH is amazing and needs a release =/

Some updates of relatively new songs:

5. Halo / Walking On Sunshine (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

8. It's My Life / Confessions, Pt. II (Glee Cast Version) - Glee Cast

22. BedRock - Young Money & Lloyd

32. Wile Out (feat. Ms Dynamite) - DJ Zinc

37. Crawl - Chris Brown

40. Spotlight (feat. Usher) - Gucci Mane

52. Hurtful - Erik Hassle

65. I Got You - Leona Lewis

68. The Cave - Mumford & Sons

91. Underdog - You Me At Six

93. Soldier of Love - Sade

98. Today Was a Fairytale - Taylor Swift

100. Rock That Body - Black Eyed Peas
