On the "Week of Death" (as some people have called it on here) I am now considering Jason DeRulo to be a strong contender for Top 3, at the very least Top 5! I will be shocked if it misses Top 10 in all honesty.

I don't think anybody meant shoot straight into the Top 10, I think they just mean it should recieve a much needed boost into the Top 20/30 at LEAST now the video has premiered...

I'm not disrespecting anyone. As I have said I am a Leona fan but there are some inane ramblings on here about how she is going to jump to the top ten. Trust me it is never going to happen when it has been stuck in the 60s.

It could go top 10. As i think Spiidey said, they seem to be supressing her sales so they are high in a small period and don't spread. Leona will also be promoting it and it's already charted at #50 before a video, great airplay and much promo.

Parachute's radio play is still fairly small, therefore doesn't have the underpinning "base" to allow the video to push it top 10. Even then, Parachute is now established in the top 20 on iTunes, so with IGY starting from a higher comparable point (~#50 on iTunes compared with Parachute's ~150 (~), then its entirely feasible that the video could push it top 10 within a couple of days, if not by early next week.

I'm pretty sure Parachute was higher than 150 before the video was released.

 

Either way we will see in time but this hysteria is reminding me of Girls Can't Catch 'perhaps making top 3'.
