January 31, 201411 yr Oh my goodness, what an episode. By far the funniest this season so far, but obviously really sad too. Kind of maybe teared up a little with April and Ann's scene at Pawnee Commons, especially the ''please don't make me say it, please'' bit. So often when characters leave shows it feels like everyone is just 'oh well, the show goes on' about it all, but I think this did such a wonderful job of making us feel like we were part of the Pawnee universe and thus this actually IS a big deal and matters. Basically everyone and everything was on point, although it did feel kind of like a SERIES finale, and I do expect the actual one will be not too dissimilar to it, really.
February 1, 201411 yr I agree, the ending especially felt very series finale-esque. So sad, I can't let go of Ann  Funniest two episodes of the season in back-to-back weeks though, back on a roll.
February 28, 201411 yr yes @ retta making the main credits finally *.* (and to a lesser extent the guy that plays gary)
February 28, 201411 yr yes @ retta making the main credits finally *.* (and to a lesser extent the guy that plays gary) about TIME
February 28, 201411 yr Always found the fact Retta wasn't in the opening credits weird (Donna was in the same category as Jerry~) but now with the two main cast members gone, I guess it's logical.
March 20, 201411 yr "Great news for Parks and Recreation: NBC chief Bob Greenblatt all but renewed the show Sunday morning. After telling reporters at the TV Critics Association press tour in Pasadena that he was feeling "bullish" on the future of the show, a critic pressed him to define "bullish." Greenblatt's response: "Parks and Rec is going to have a seventh season." That's not an official renewal, but it's pretty definitive. Treat yo'self to something good today, Bob Greenblatt. Parks and Rec fans are very happy today. " - Vulture YAY! What was an unofficial renewal back in January is now VERY MUCH OFFICIAL *.*
April 25, 201411 yr A great interview with an EP of the show about the finale. http://tvline.com/2014/04/25/parks-and-rec...on-7-time-jump/ He claims Parks is nearing its end, so Season 7 might be its last :(
May 2, 201411 yr I think it probably should end at S7 anyway, but that time jump has the potential to totally revamp the show which it kind of needed after most of this season. Up until the last 2 minutes it really felt like a series finale anyway, it's going to be hard to top that in terms of touching base with almost everyone/thing in Pawnee when they do actually end.
May 11, 201411 yr Season 7 is officially the final season and it's missing from the fall schedule :( Edited May 11, 201411 yr by Heezus
May 11, 201411 yr NO :( Just a 13 episode season then  I suppose 7 seasons is pretty incredible for something that barely made it past the first and has operated as a critically acclaimed bubble show ever since. May as eel go out when the quality is still firmly in the 10/10 region.
May 11, 201411 yr It's not really confirmed for mid-season, perhaps they'll bring it forward if one of the new comedies bombs.
November 28, 201410 yr J. Lo is playing Leslie's nanny in Season 7? :o "We’ll meet Ben and Leslie’s nanny in Season 7. Who’s playing her? Hints Amy Poehler: “It rhymes with Bennifer Topez.” Hmmm… I’m coming up empty." (TVLine)
