This is a bad mashup of Beyonce's smash hit from last and the 80s gem from Katrina And the Waves from 1985. I suspect both tunes will both fall of the top 20 next week.

In a way Miley Cyrus has scored her first UK number one hit and first UK top ten.

 Id forgotten she was in the song then

Congratulations to the musical genius that is Simon Cowell on scoring a richly deserved UK#1 hit single making shedloads of money to charity.

But listening to this track reminds me of Simon's debut effort from 28 years ago .......

Wonderdog - Ruff Mix (UK#31 1982)

...... as it quite literally is the dog's bollocks.

Reggie sounded like a sex pest all the way through this show. But in all fairness, he sounds like that every week.

Alexandra Burke on this record? That's news for me.

Yeah I know. He has such a crush on Rihanna.

I know this is for charity but it's a big s**t! <_<
It's a bit mediocre, but there have been far worse #1s and you can't knock the cause. I would find another way to donate to the cause rather than buy a song like that though...
Where's Alexandra Burke in this song.

She duets with James Morrison on the line "If you feel like you’re alone, no, no, no, you are not alone".

THis is an OK remake of the REM Classic and it will probaly stay there for at least another week. Also the "We Are THe World" remake premired last Friday and I wouldn't be surprised if the tune knocked the song or enter at #2 in a few weeks.

Bit late at replying but glad at Alicia holding on to the top spot with TEOF. And to think she only made top 20 in November
