Prime Minister Gordon Brown has pledged to waive VAT on the single. Very little - a prime example of somebody who ignites casual interest in singles but few people would be interested in a whole album (well with this era at least, the first Shock Value had surprisingly big success and longevity for an urban album). Ke$ha might be one of these sort of acts.
