February 14, 201016 yr Author And the Global Stars bit on the charity track is doing my head in, not a word of that is on the actual cover.
February 14, 201016 yr I've obviously missed something... can anyone explain the (more than welcome) reappearance of Fast Car this week?
February 14, 201016 yr Author I've obviously missed something... can anyone explain the (more than welcome) reappearance of Fast Car this week?  Dancing On Ice TV programme last Sunday.
February 14, 201016 yr Glad to see Kesha fall 24 places :) And that Justin guy. They are both god-awful, IMO.  Go Glee! and Alicia Keys! :) Telephone will rocket up after the Brit's on Tuesday.
February 14, 201016 yr #49 for You Me At Six :o Shame it wasn't top 40 though :(Â And Mumford & Sons get a third top 75 single :w00t:Â Considering both were A-listed on Radio 1, pretty disastrous results...
February 14, 201016 yr Mumford and sons i didnt even think they would get top 75, their singles are not doing great which is a huge shame as all 3 so far have been brilliant but on a brighter note at the least the album is doing quite well.
February 14, 201016 yr Brilliant at the Robster climbing 20 places this week :o It was 37 in the midweeks so this is quite a plesent suprise. It will no doubt be back in the top 10 this week with the BRITS :D
February 14, 201016 yr Wow Alicia is killing it this era, she is performing with Jay Z at the Brits, so that should give her a boost this week.
February 14, 201016 yr Nice to see Pixie's in the chart, even though it's quite low. Hopefully it means "Gravity"'s gonna be BIG :D
February 14, 201016 yr The brits will definitly help Robbie back in to next weeks top 10 and unless someone absolutly cleans up with awards on the night alicia could hold number 1 as her performance should push sales.

I'm extremely shocked with how WELL they're doing :o Getting a #24 single with almost zero airplay... Winter Winds underperformed a little given it got A-List on Radio 1, but The Cave is #70 already with 2-3 weeks until physical release. Hopefully they can get a second top 40 hit. And they're a relatively unknown London folk band. That alone should guarantee a massive flop, but they're doing quite well. Edited February 14, 201016 yr by BrayFish
February 14, 201016 yr LOL Leona is not doing good, I would've guessed she would easily climb top20 this week... :o Nice to see Robbie ascending to the top. And Kesha's song is cheap but a nice dance tune, I like it much more than Telephone. The lyrics are a bit shocking but I expect it will sell A LOT, it is the definition of a dance-hit. :funky:
February 14, 201016 yr Telephone will rocket up after the Brit's on Tuesday. Apparently she's performing Bad Romance
February 14, 201016 yr Mumford & Sons are doing fine - better than fine actually, they're doing great. The singles market is too pop/R&B dominated at the moment for them to really be successful there, so as long as the album is shifting copies it's all good. Shame for Massive Attack though. No.6 is definitely a disappointment. Their first studio album to miss the top 5 since Blue Lines.
February 14, 201016 yr Apparently she's performing Bad Romance That's a rumour. There's several floating around atm about her performance. Nothing's been confirmed.
February 14, 201016 yr Cant be often a single spends it's 35th week at number 35. I doubt that's ever happened. This is I Gotta Feeling's 36th week, although one of those weeks was at #79.
February 14, 201016 yr I gotta feeling is holding on so well and its likely now that meet me halfway will leave the top 75 before it, both great songs though and both big sellers.

It's not a genre that generally performs very well in the charts so to have spent as long as they have in the top 40 is a great achievement. Of course, the fact that it's a very good album helps.
