I know JLS are on Lets dance for sport relief (So are the Sugababes), National lottery draws & Something for the weekend.. nothing major but was wondering if anyone else was doing any promo

Rihanna. She's performing on GMTV and Alan Carr: Chatty Man.

I wouldn't rule out Jason Derulo being a surprise contender for #1 next week. Although they are different markets, In My Head shot to #1 on Australian and NZ itunes and I can see it potentially going top 3 myself

We need to get Rihanna’s latest single “Rude Boy” to #1! So lets start with getting it on the top spot at iTunes! Rihanna’s birthday is on Saturday and it would be a great surprise for her! So if you got iTunes account buy “Rude Boy” on February 20th! Spread the word to make it the official download day! The more people will download it on the same day the higher it will go! -Campaign started from RihannaDaily.

I completely agree. He will be a shock contender imo. I think number 1 is a bit too optimistic, but still should go Top 5 easily imo. (Maybe a little more successful than WS...)

Back to discussion - with Dizzee and Florence and Haiti - 2 unexpected singles 6 weeks ago - plus any Glee singles linguering on - next week really will be tense.

Jason Derulo top 5? Really? :unsure: I just don't see it happening but if I'm proved wrong so be it. I get the impression 'In My Head' will probably go top 20.

 

Would be interesting if Alicia Keys climbed all the way to no. 1 with 'ESOM' next week - if only the cd single was a AA-side with 'Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart'. :( Then at least we could claim both songs were no. 1 in the UK. :D

I don't think her label thought that ESOM Part 2 would be this successful. Jason DeRulo. I think he will get another top 3. Although I think In My Head is dire.

What bugs me about 'In My Head' is that not only does it feature "J-J-J-JR" like 'Whatcha Say' does, but also a really unappropriately timed "Aluka Heights" again taken from the last three seconds of 'Whatcha Say'. Does every track on his album have these included? :lol: About as bad as Michael Bolton's debut album where every track had a key change!!! :( -_-

:lol: You mean Beluga Heights.. think that is his record label.. Theres a bit in the song where Whatcha say is played too.. maybe so people know its the same guy but now with a different song
