Surprisingly, 'Empire State Of Mind' was a physical release (about a month after it peaked), although 'Run This Town' was download only. I think the reason 'Rude Boy' has been removed is because there's not going to be a download EP available this week, however it'll still be promoted as a single, such as Leona's 'Run'.

Yeah but admit it, this happens quite rarely nowadays, that the first single is a download only and the second has a physical release :)

ManicKangaroo does not say Rude Boy is having a physical release.

Ah c'mon Ricky, you know what I meant ;)

I think that applies for the physical release but I don't think it will ever happen. Russian Roulette was a download only single too, why would they release the second single on Physicals?

As I mentioned last week it doesn't seem to be having any single release (at the moment) which is why its now in the Coming Soon section

is there any lead singles from the new usher and white stripes albums?

Natalie Imbruglia – Come To Life

This keeps getting put back. why? It was released in Europe at the end of last year.

Usher released Papers late last year and There Goes My Baby last week

It's funny how midway through the last decade he was a totally unstoppable force, and now he's so over.  (Thank GOD)

I actually doubt it'll ever see a release here. :(

Also, is it for definite that Sophie Ellis-Bextor's 'Bittersweet' is for April 26th? I've not seen this anywhere else.

Russian Roulette was never released as a digital single (i.e. having it's own seperate single release or a digital EP) but the album was released so people cherry picked from that, which would suggest the chart run of 6-2.

It looks like the same has happened with Rude Boy... They haven't even bothered giving it a digital single release. At least Jay-Z's (Same record company) 'Run This Town' got a seperate digital release! (I also agree Empire State of Mind getting a physical was pointless.) It seems Young Forever didn't get a digital single release either... Something Jay-Z's record company seem to be making a habit of recently.

I am so annoyed that Rihanna is unlikely to have any official remixes/b-sides available to purchase now from this era, I think a Rude Boy remix could be quite popular.

Nevermind, I'm sure DefJam know what they're doing... :(

Young Forever did get a digital single release

Did it?! It's definitely not on my iTunes - I just have the 2 album ones, and some fakes being covered...

Sugababes - Sweet 7 has been pushed back again [] to March 15th.

Quick question. The Adam Lambert album is listed for 26th April, but I've already seen it in HMV - would this be a USA import?

Most likely. They have Glee V2 in there as an import.

No, it was given a soft release last November

Manic, is Keri DEFINATELY giving 'I Like' a full UK release?

I heard (so probably not true  - but I thought i'd ask) a new single would "drop sometime in March" a while back (obviously when they say "drop" they mean over in America as I swear they're the only country that says that :P) so would she be more likely to go with the one that is set to be released in the US as lead single for her 2nd album over here, or is 'I Like' definately going to be the next single?

Sorry if I have confused you :heehee:

As you know, record companies are prone to changing their minds, especially if no-one picks up on it but at the moment it is her next single (although it'll probably be download-only)

Yes (although I suspect it will be download-only, but you never know)

Someone on another forum recently messaged heron twitter and she replied
