February 22, 201015 yr  I have a feeling that your 12 may have gone somewhere else this month anyway. Kopecka's entry practically screams 'Phil will love this' for a start - I wouldn't be surprised if it went there :PThe top3 was stupidly tight. Very hard to separate them and one song just edged it. Kopecka is back on form this month  more Eurovision rejects to look forward to for XXV - how exciting! And with Peter's promised Polish one and no doubt half of Melodifestivalen, I'm sure it will be a thrilling contest next month :P And the Ashtonise comeback :kink:
February 22, 201015 yr Why do I feel so gutted that Najoua made it to the final, and Wallis Bird did not get a smidgeon into the final :snif: I told you you were a fool to drop it!
February 22, 201015 yr I told you you were a fool to drop it! "Notes to self, take Tyron's advice next time" -_-
February 22, 201015 yr Greenfroze has voted! Very varied quality in the final, with some really good songs missing out. But my top 5 was epic! The lower 5 was quite difficult to order though, as I liked many songs on an almost equal basis. Any surprises? I'm not sure, but it seems this contest holds too many of them already, I think. February 22, 201015 yr Author very happy with my top ten, love them all :D decent contest in terms of music, and certainly in terms of originality - more of this next month I hope - nice job Aaron :cheer: Yes, the music and originality is all down to me! But yeah, I'm pleased that we have such a diverse final. It's not one of my favourites, but it's always good to see Pop (pure, electro and pop-rock), Indie, R&B, Rap (ish) represented to some extent. I'd say Dance is possibly the only BJSC friendly genre that isn't properly represented. I don't think I've topped the quality of either of my previous contests, but it's great to be hosting one without a pre-determined top 2 for once. ^_^ On another note, I might find myself nominating for the banlist next month, no Eurovision rejects please! :drama:
February 22, 201015 yr Since we're talking about eurovision, we can send artists that have been to eurovision right, as long as its not the song they competed with?
February 22, 201015 yr Since we're talking about eurovision, we can send artists that have been to eurovision right, as long as its not the song they competed with? Dima Bilan, Serebro, Helena Paparizou, Ani Lorak etc has participated in BJSC so yes they are allowed :D And are very welcome to partake :kink:
February 22, 201015 yr It's kinda old, the sound might be a bit dated, but the melody of the song is timeless. Really love it :)
