Well, WWE have done their job by actually making people believe Michaels is winning. It's great marketing on WWE's part.

With regards to Rey being one of the best wrestlers in WWE at the moment, I would agree. It's just his character that is stale as hell. And his ringwork is much watered down, obviously due to injuries. He's been on a slow decline for a few years now. I think the last Rey match that made me think "$h!t, this was amazing" was v. JBL at Judgment Day 2006. Great performance, with Rey using the limitations he has in his favor. There have been more since then, but his gimmick is so tired.

True, he can't do the stuff he did in the 90's anymore but his matches are still the high point of most shows, wrestling-wise. His match with Punk 2 or 3 weeks ago was really really good and a great preview of what I hope to see at Wrestlemania. Especially, how they want to top that finish. :D

Rey's best match in recent history is last year's elimination chamber, IMO. Rey MADE that match and it was a MOTY candidate for me.

Yeah. Rey's character is so stale now. He used to be so good and I was actually a fan, until I grew up and realised it was OK to like "the baddies" But he's so boring and like AAC said, he is slowly losing it. (Like 'taker's slowly losing it) He's been limited for a while now (I respect it's not really his fault as injuries can do things like this :() and his manouevers and stuff was apart of his character.

Oh and Maryse vs. Eve would be ideal imo  Both, improving so much! Maryse is by far the best heel diva since Mickie James was Trish's stalker. Eve, reminds me so much of Candice. Suddenly improving no end, and seems to be recieving a title push! But what's the betting we get another Divas 6-person tag match?! :drama:

Psycho Mickie. Oh i loved her feud with Trish.

I never thought i would see Bret Hart back at wrestling on such a big scale again, i have mixed feelings about the match, i was a huge Bret Hart fan growing up and always followed him and just over a year ago i had the unfortunate experience of meeting him at a wrestling event in Ireland with other wrestlers and he was the most arrogant person i have evr met and i was truly disapointed by him.

I've heard a few reports of fans being disappointed when meeting him. It would definitely put me off meeting him, considering I consider him one of the best workers of our time. I wouldn't want to be disillusioned.

His comeback has lacked that x-factor because the fans in attendance just aren't as excitable as they were in the late 90's/early 00's. Hell, I think even if it was back in 2006 the crowd would've responded better.

I havnt seen any of his wrestling since he returned, what has he being like phyisically, moves and speed?

Bad, VERY bad. But that's not surprising considering he had a stroke. He can't take ANY bumps. Batista's attack on him looked awful beaucse of that (looks like he wanted to do a Batista bomb at first):

and I felt really uncomfortable when he fell down when he pulled that electrical thing (5:38 in that video):

I just hope they don't do too much at WM. I would have been fine with them just doing promos and standing in the corners of Cena and Batista. And I could live with another McMahon garbage match as well.

McMahon & Bret is now a No Holes Barred match & Punk/Mysterio will be a street fight. If rey loses he has to join SES

No, Rey vs. Punk will be a normal one-on-one match. If Rey won against Gallows it would have been a streetfight. That is as it stands now. Maybe they switch it next week.

I wonder what happened to the rumoured "Mask v. Hair" angle they were going with?

Ok. Must have misunderstood that stipulation about the street fight.

My guess is that that will be the end of the feud and would be too early at WM since they just started the feud.

Maybe have the streetfight at Extreme Rules and then a mask vs. hair match at Summerslam as the blowoff to the feud. But a hair vs. mask match with Rey is a foregone conclusion anyway. They won't let Rey lose his mask with the merchandise they sell with it.

100% agreed. There's no chance WWE would risk losing Smackdown's hispanic hero with such a huge young following. Although, for us fans who are bored of his current shtick, it would probably breathe some life into his character ;)

They've tried that already with Jericho last year though. So maybe they don't want to repeat the same sorta storyline.

Im hoping Bret beats McMahon at Wrestlemania and id love the Undertaker to beats Shaun Michaels, i havnt watched wretsling in a few years but will watch wrestlemania this year to see how Bret pulls his wrestling moves off since his stroke.

THIS SUNDAY!!

My predictions (these are purely who I THINK will win. Not who I WANT):

- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH!

Chris Jericho © vs. Edge

- WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

Batista © vs. John Cena

- STREAK VS CAREER

Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

Vince McMahon vs. Bret 'The Hitman' Hart

- MITB LADDER MATCH

Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Jack Swagger vs. MVP vs. Matt Hardy vs. Evan Bourne vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Kofi Kingston

Triple H vs. Sheamus

- TRIPLE THREAT MATCH

Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase Jr. vs. Cody Rhodes

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio

-UNIFIED TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

The Miz & Big Show ©'s vs. R-Truth & John Morrison

The Triple Threat match though I think could go to Ted too. However I don't know how they'd do it, unless they just let Cody stand there and watch Ted pin Orton. But Cody will want to prove he's the bigger man for pinning Orton for pride or whatever.
