The fact that Rihanna doesn't have physicals is bad enough, but the fact that there isn't even a digital single release is what's completely stupid. (I.E. no EPs, Remixes - you can only buy the song from the album.) I think that Jay-Z's stupid record company should give Rihanna singles, as Russian Roulette would probably have gone to #1, Rude Boy may have gone to #1 this week (or next) - There was no reason not to give her a physical, she was still climbing and hadn't already peaked on release week. Not to mention DefJam ruining 2 possible singles now (Wait Your Turn & Hard) - Rihanna should go back to her last record company. I think they managed her better...

Yes, I think I did. Well I went to HMV to get a physical but the woman said they weren't stocking it. And it didn't get a digital single release, and therefore was cherry picked from the album. (Which was released before her performance on X Factor)... It's really annoying. I think remixes of Russian Roulette would've been interesting!

When I went to HMV Central London. They were stocking it. But then it got re called the next day.

Chill out! I think if remixes were released, it could create more of a buzz for the album, because it's still not selling that well - unlike her previous album which had proper singles.

 

Anyway, I don't mean to start an argument and I hope Tinie Tempah, Jason or Rihanna make the #1 spot next week. It's an ideal top 3! B)

I totally agree with you. If you multibuy a song - RB for e.g - it deserves no credit when it charts at whatever position. I guess it could be the same with GA's singles. But anyway, iTunes knows about the loons and multibuys just count as one purchase :lol:
