Do they actually? Much as I would agree with that decision if they were, I'm not sure they will be. The album's underperformed, but they are currently the closest to filling the GA/Sugas gap that will inevitably be opening up soon. Their nearest rivals are Girls Can't Catch which isn't a bad position to be in.

The future is looking brighter than it was a two months back it has to be said. Until Wordshaker sells into passable numbers then they wont be out of the woods fully though imo.

Then of course you remember they're on the same label as Sophie Ellis Bextor who in a few years time will be celebrating a decade of being a flop. *sigh of relief for The Sats*

TBH im just scrapping the barel for reasons for my recent Sats are amazing <3 etc posts

Indeed the Toni nominated actress/singer has been doing this for coming up to 15 years.

Still it will be a real pity if the rumours turn out to be true that she will leave Glee due to her landing the lead role of Dorothy in the Hollywood Wizard Of Oz remake (featuring the already confirmed Dan Aykroyd, James Belushi & Kelsey Grammer) due for filming the second half of 2010 to go to the cinema in 2011.

She is stunningly talented.

I'm sure the producers on Glee would find a way for her to take a 'haitus' from Glee to film it and then comeback for the 2nd half of the season.

the whole thread has been fun apart from LL1 who seems to have a problem.

I had a problem with him too. He brings down the mood.

^Sophie Ellis Bextor is 30,000 times better than whatever the Saturdays aspire to be....

Whenever they do anything that approaches "Take Me Home", "Murder on the Dancefloor", "Groovejet" or "Catch you", then we'll talk.

The Future's orange?

I'm the only really active Adam Lambert fan on this forum, which is not surprising since he isn't that huge in the UK... yet.

But you should check these posts out, would be good to have some more fans show interest.

Cool will do... and You are not alone in your Lambert-Love :)

Hopefully he'll get more popular here when he releases properly in April...

I had a problem with him too. He brings down the mood.

yeah mods need to warn whoever it is.

rihanna has hardly been bashed

Oh dont get me wrong. I like Sophie as much as the next person but I dread to think what the sales for the last 2 albums look like.

Look at Wordshakers :P

Yeah, he is always rather rude isn't he, -_-

i hate it when people who talk, or sing like they talk in songs. it always annoys me when artists do that or that is their 'style' of 'singing'
Top for me, but hey we are doing well :P

the link you posted is for the UK only, if you search WW we're #2

My top 5 worst people from current times:

1) Britney Spears (Womanizer and 3 are the two worst songs in a while. Both overproduced piles of dog sick. Circus was better but pointless. If U Seek Amy was alright but the radio edit sucked. Stop living in the past love. Just because about 3 songs have been appreciated, it doesn't mean you can release 50 singles of crap)

2) Jonas Brothers (Why? All of them need to be shot in different ways. What a big pile of rubbish.

3) Akon (His confidence about everything is too much, and he and his songs are pretty cringe. He has had some good ones but now he just doesn't even seem to make an effort.)

4) Mr Hudson (The most annoying twerp of them all. LOL at Radio 1 rejecting him for airplay now)

5) N-Dubz (I like some of their songs but all three of them make me feel ill)

La Roux is so bad, and probably ruined now anyway, so doesn't deserve to be on that list. It's too good for her. Girls Can't Catch, Pitbull, Glee Cast, That Sidney Samson song, Alexandra Burke, JLS, Leona, Diana Vic, Mika and Calvin Harris all annoy me to some extent. Some more than others.

Oh I like Sophie E-B, I love her posh schoolmistress singing voice. I think she's MUCH better a popstar than the Saturdays.

However in terms of album sales, I doubt there's really all that much between them :( I would say however that I think a lot more money and effort has gone into promoting the Saturdays, then has been with Sophie since 2003. In that sense, the Saturdays may be losing more money than S.E-B.
