Now last week, someone suggest that the chart I put, was ahead of the top 10 that was broadcasted at the start of the dodgy Big Top 40 on the Sunday...That is because the Big Top 40 week`s top 10 at the start of the show, breaks off on Wednesday night. Last Sunday, their week`s top 10 had Dizzee & Florence still at the top. Indeed it was until Thursday, when Jason took over. The top ten on Big Top 40, has always broke off on a Wednesday. The reason is uncertain, but even at New Year point they still show Rage Against The Machine ahead, even when Joe McElderry had taken over, by the weekend. So from that point, Joe never got there on Big Top 40, but in reality he did. Confused? Well don`t listen to Big Top 40!

I guess it's new songs that are pushing it down, not it's sales. I want it to hit a million, so good that it will stay for a while :P

Sex on Fire and Poker Face out of the top 75 so might be a while until they reach a million.

SOF was not top 75 at any point last week, but it still was #66 and sold another 4k.

57k to go for it, so probably a maximum of 30 weeks until the million unless sales really drop off sharply. I expect some currently unforeseen circumstance will come along and get it there before then though.

I think Rihanna could get her number 1 next week... she's number 2 on the US too (ITUNES...) a big hit as expected from the minute I heard this song on the album.

I finally heard Pass Out at school today! I didn't think it was that bad, but I think Rude Boy is a much better song, and should've been number one this week.

There is absolutely NO way Rihanna will get the #1 this week, shes still a pretty decent amount away from him on Itunes isnt she, and for the past 5 days has been absolutely trounced by him.

how many sales would u say. he wos 16,000 ahead of jjjjr beluga heights guy. then rude girl leapfrogged JD on wednesday to take the #2 place, apparently it wos then 20,000 sales between them. but then rude girl has definitely closed the gap in the last few days so its gotta be bout half that by now. i'd say bout 12,000 sales.

 

she could easily catch up with good sales on friday and saturday cos by morning she could be #1 on itunes i reckon.

Personally I think 'Gave It All Away' is awful.

I love Gave It All Away, it's classic Boyzone but with a contemporary twist. The 'ooh wa wa wa wah' middle 8 reminds me of their #1 single A Different Beat.

She hasnt been catching up in sales though. She is still behind on Itunes (as far as im aware) so he is still pulling away, just at a decreasing rate.
