24 hours before the entry deadline, the Numayanian delegation could not reach a decision over which act to send to BJSCXXVIII. Deputy head juror, Toma Blanc, who was leading the group since Sante Autastockselios was meeting with the heads of the BJBU in Kopecka, proposed an alternate solution. Considering the disturbing news regarding the possible end of the contest, proposed an alternate solution. The small but powerful French-speaking minority in the country were eager to see a representative from their ancient homeland, and so we decided to send an artist that has been planend for a Numayanian entry since the beginning, along with an artist that has been popular worldwide and in Numayania since the 80s. The Numayanian entry in BJSCXXVIII is:

Yeah, I like them. The album's very good actually. I was at an 80s party last night, and this wouldn't have sounded at all out of place ehre... Well fair enough, I must admit I still am but I need to get out of that mindset, it's just thant it's practically been my way of life for 2 years :lol: Yeah, this contest has actually been fun, at first I was pissed off that people were making a joke out of it, but actually I like the fact that most people have thrown caution to the wind, and are sending songs they would want to if they didn't worry about how they would peform, or keeping a reputation. Unknown Pleasures isn't right for me, sadly, I'm not indie enough. Though I could send that Frida song, but you'd know who it was then :lol: What do you think of it btw?

Numayania is delighted to have reached 14th place in BJSCXXVIII with Sensetized by Christophe Willem and Kylie Minogue. "This song was not entered as a potential contest winner, but to celebrate the Francophone community in Numayania, to celebrate Kylie Minogue's acceptance to enter the contest for us, and to go out on a good note before the upcoming break in the contest", admits Sante Autastockselias. "We are also very pleased for Ashton, a country that has long been underappreciated in the contest, winning for the first time, also with the first foreign language winning song". As Swedish is not well spoken in Numayania, Molly has recorded the Numayanian version of the song as Mon Lieve Es Mone, which will be released for download and in shops on Monday, and it looks set to be a smash hit... Well it's been an eventful few months in Numayania. In XXIX we went Finnish with Jonna Geagea, although no-one knew it at the time, because due to a controversial rule change, nicknamed La Voce Dela BJSC by the Numayanian press, she had to travel from Numayania to Ashton under cover of darkness, and all Numayanian insignia were stripped from the performances, as with other countries. However, with Katsu Mua she kept up Numayania's top 15 streak, and was welcomed back to the country for a triumphant performance in the final of Numayanien X Facteur.

 

In XXX we had started, so we Finnished again! Despite the anoymity rule still being in place meaning that an internal selection had to be made in Numayania, Cristal Snow went to Yuxhaaq and became Numayania's first male entrant since Gravitonas gave us a top 10 placing in XXVII. The gothic Electro-pop star made the rest of BJworld Surrender and we came within 2 points of a top 10 placing.

 

In December, The Best Of BJSC contest was held in Ashton and Kopecka, with the rejects competition held in Numayania, where Greenfroze's entry to XXII, Sometimes by Donkeyboy was crowned the best song not to make the final of the contest. Meanwhile, despite having three songs in the heats of TBO, we were unable to make the final, as in 2009. As a result of this, the results show was shifted to NuMusique CCBJ (the 24-hour BJSC channel) and a competition to find Numayanian's favourite entry to the contest was held, resulting in Hurts - Wonderful Life from XXIII being crowned #1. The band appeared on the show to perform this song, and their Christmas #1 single All I Want For Christmas Is New Year's Day.

 

So what is ahead for Numayania in BJSC? Some dissenting voices were heard after the country's failure to reach the final of TBO, however due to our place on the Council Of BJSC, Sante Outastockelius has committed to the contest until at least XXXV. It seems that the country may be looking East for their next entry, and BJSCToude.ny reports that they will be revealing one entry of their national selection per day from tomorrow... I agree with the Vickers comment. The ban on her was removed when she actually sang something decent. Politi Áskorzjan i'Borteránná [Ashton's Border Police] are authorised to Kill Darin and Andreas on sight, regardless of whether they attempt to cross the Border into Ashton or not.
