March 13, 201015 yr I was really looking forward to The Silence and like a few people have said it would be better for ANL to have a summer release, but i still love this song though I prefer the solo version from the album
March 13, 201015 yr It is right up there with Bad Boys, both versions are really good.I hope the release date is not messed up though.I think the week of the 26th April will be great to get it a long chart run.I hope she has a really good routine to go with it.
March 13, 201015 yr Love the new intro. Prefer a lot to The Silence. But All Night Long is sheer class. Also hate to say this but Pitbull sounds good on the track.
March 13, 201015 yr Like this but not keen on Pitbull being added. Off to Spotify to check out the album version.
March 13, 201015 yr I've grown to love the version with Pitbull. Obviously the Pitbull-less version is still a thousand times better. But AHHH! Love it. Cannot wait to see the video and performance! But for some reason I have a feeling 'The Silence' may be performed tonight on Ant & Dec's show. As long as it helps the album, which I'm sure both tracks will, for completely different reasons. 'The Silence' to close the era (before a probable re-release more than likely :drama:) please!
March 13, 201015 yr Well her promo has been stepped up a notch but they really need to let us know a relase date. She will also be on Dancing on Ice next week, I hope she does two songs. http://www.radiotimes.com/ListingsServlet?...ls_fullpage.jsp
March 13, 201015 yr On the other hand, I think quite confusing. It's like the Hard/ Rude Boy mix up all over again.
March 13, 201015 yr Pixie got two songs, i hope Burkey does. 'The Silence' would shift some albums. :)
March 13, 201015 yr Author Big promo tonight and next week then. Will be interesting to see what the release date for ANL is now. I'm sure they'll avoid 19th April now anyway lol.
March 13, 201015 yr I prefer this to The Silence too but it is a RETARDED, DISASTEROUS single choice at this stage. It will not sell ANY albums. The hook is too subtle - the only part I can imagine the public humming along to is 'all night, all night, all night, all night' right after the chorus. This should've been the fourth single. Three club-happy-ish songs in a row is a bad idea.
March 13, 201015 yr No no noooo, 'The Silence'. This should've been 4th if anything. I agree with what Jark said pretty much, 'The Silence' would have diversified it somewhat as she already released two storming uptempos to shake off any potential Leona comparisons.
March 13, 201015 yr This isn't uptempo. It's a perfect Mid-tempo, that yeah I agree is more suitable for a summer release, whilst 'The Silence' would have sold more albums than this will. But this will still shift a fair few I reckon. I'm just pleased to see that we're getting the highlight of the album as a single for a change!
March 13, 201015 yr I reckon this'll be a much bigger hit than 'The Silence' would've been, whilst it may not shift loads of albums I'm pretty sure it'll go top 10 at least. Definetly a chance for higher than that though.
March 13, 201015 yr Gutted The Silence isn't next but at least All Night Long is getting a single release (was worried after 3rd single they would just move onto deluxe edition singles). This is definately in the top 5 best songs on Overcome, shame about Pitbull on the single version though. I guess the label were hoping by releasing a different version of the song, the single will shift more. Edited March 13, 201015 yr by GTH
March 13, 201015 yr Eugh, you get a big performance opportunity and then sing your best known hit? Yeah, that makes sense ... :/.
March 13, 201015 yr To be fair, it wasn't really a promo slot for the new single, still, i don't see why it couldn't have been their task to do the routine to All Night Long. :P
March 13, 201015 yr Is there even a routine to All Night Long, is there even a video, I just wonder what she will do on DOI.
