Because of BEPs physicals I'm guessing

Inna is #5 and BEP #14(on itunes) how many BEP would sold psychicals?

Inna not moving up is good, I don't want her to overtake Cheryl :kink:

Great for 'Telephone' getting to #2, it has to overtake Tinnie.

I am sorry but sugas haters get a grip - one album not reaching top 10 is not gonna say bye bye its gonna be a wake up call for the label and the management thats all! its a shame its flopping but who expected any more - no1! the label prob saw it coming too!

Well, if you can't "expect any more" than a #11 placing, it says a lot about the band...

the sugababes should not have released 3 singles before , they should have released after about a girl and used wear my kiss to help rebound the album.
YAH! for Fight For This Love back in the top 40 - I hope it gets to 900K before summer, and Parachute holding at #7 is great!

Wasn't it at 3 yesterday?? It's gone up :D

oops my mistake. the single charts really bore me at the mo

Does anyone know if Sugas are far from #10? :(

We don't have any sales, this is wearing thin on me, when its big and brassed in the post itself.

Can I have Mumford and Sons' position please? thanks

30+5

it says nothing - all it says is a member was sacked and they are still paying for it! not the girls fault. it has been handled appallingly

I just doubt that she is non mover. I think this midweeks are incorrect.

I agree, they should have disbanded instead of going on with Jade.

But anyway, it just seems the public isn't clicking with their new music direction. Even 'Get sexy' had an awful chart run. And the last album was a flop sales wise, and that was with no excuse of member sacked/replaced...

If that was aimed at me, where the f*** did i say about there being 3 singles?

If you were here long enough and stop spouting stuff before you read then you'll know many people on here use some theory that the total week sales are usually 2 and a half/3 times what it sold by Tuesday's midweek - this is what i was using. That would make it 12-15,000 if the 5000 from yesterday is correct

The 2.5-3.0 multiplier for Tuesday mid sales to Sunday chart is for single sales, which has moved from 3.0-3.5 due to downloads now meaning more front loading of sales due to the availability of singles on Sunday.

For albums, the multiplier is AFAIK still 3.0-3.5, so if Suga's have sold 5,000 on first day I'd expect them to come in around 15-17.5k for the week. Probably the lower end of that though, since as we know their sales are usually front-loaded more so than most others.

I keep reading statments like this and I keep thinking, what should have been done? Maybe the album shouldn't have been put back a week, but then could it have held down a top 20 placing last week? Maybe Wear My Kiss and the album should have been released in April? The thing is, the girls did alot of promotion for the album and single, they were getting complementry comments from The Sun Bizzare column yesterday for how hot they looked. I honestly don't know what more could have been done.

The one thing I would have had them do were instore signings for the album.

Anyway, extremely happy that Lady Gaga has moved up to #2 - hopefully sales are close and she may get the #1 come Sunday

Thanks for the info

That's what is posted on the MW database, but I have a funny feeling some sales are missing, nothing has hardly moved since yesterday, the artists updates are practically the same as yesterday, with the odd act moving up or down just a place or two.

hmm... a lot of acts have not moved at all from yesterday's positions, looks like some sales have not been collected for yesterday

Yeah, looks like only a few movements in the whole top 40 singles - BEP/Inna swapping places, Gabriella and Young Money also swapping places, Boyzone jumping 3 places, Cheryl now back in with FFTL - looks to me like iTunes data is missing, with physical sales causing the main swaps in positions (all the climbers are those you would expect to sell more physicals than the acts that are adjacent to them in the mids).

I expect Inna to be top 10 tomorrow.

What this also shows I think is that the gap between Rihanna and GaGa was small in yesterday's mids, which, with the gap between Tinie and Rihanna probably around the same as last week, means I'm not ruling out (yet) the possibility of GaGa taking the #1 spot this week.

I'm convinced there are people who earn money every time they say flop
