You may think she has a 'lousy voice' (which I don't think she does, it's distinctive amongst all the other 'nice' generic R&B voices) but she doesn't really have 'zilch personality', perhaps in her earlier years when she was just starting out but not now. She comes across as pretty likeable in her interviews and has fun in them too, the most recent example being her interview on Alan Carr.

Oh and this thread was an enjoyable read. :heehee: I really hate fans who aren't objective AT ALL and think everything their favourite artists is pure gold, so annoying. Even I can admit that Rihanna's had some pretty DIRE performances, especially in her early days (that 'Hero' performance was laughable bless her :heehee:) and has had bad songs too (see most of 'A Girl Like Me' -_-). It looks embarrasing when you praise almost everything your favourite artists does imo. That's all I have to say about the whole Sugas vs Cheryl/GA debate ... it's pretty clear who's side I would be on but cba to argue with some loons.

obviously - thisispop is far, far too musically savvy and intelligent to be sat alongside Robson and Jerome and Westlife man Simon Cowell, tone-deaf Girls Aloud embarrassment Cheryl 'any hole's a' Cole, poor old Desperate Dannii... nice girl but the musical knowledge of a chipmunk...and old Uncle Disgusting himself, Walshy.

Getting rid of Amelle, would apparently be getting rid of Heidi too, seeing as Keisha was the problem. But whilst I sorta agree with your first point, I think Keisha was just a bit TOO much to handle to work with... If Heidi and Amelle, say she's a nightmare to work with then what I don't get is why is it always "they've been told to say that by management". Like people KNOW what happened. Everyone knows, you don't get sacked for nothing. Amelle and Heidi have both said they respect Keisha as a person but it was just professionally she was a nightmare to work with (which I can actually believe myself, but each to their own and all that ;)). Also, look at interviews now, compared to when they were with Keisha. They seem alot more comfortable and happy now. (Although it's early days yet).

 

I dunno. I'm believing what Amelle and Heidi are saying personally. Because weirdly, I have always thought Keisha would be a bit hard to work with. I dunno why I've always thought that, I just have. She seems to be the type. I appreciate her passion and the love she has for her music, but sometimes too much can be enough. (If that made sense).

 

PLEASE NOTE: What I said above doesn't make me a "4.0 Loon" (My fave was 3.0 - 'Change' is one of my favourite albums ever! :P) I just believe, you don't get "sacked" for nothing...

 

Oh just read this. WELL SAID JONJO. You are officially cleared of any 4.0 lunacy just because you dont seem to be confusing bullying with passion, drive and difficutly to work with.

I am no fan of the Sugababes but I take my hat off to the fact that when they do a performance they rarely if ever mime.They are one of the few pop acts around that does not rely on pre-recorded vocals or just miming every performance a la Cheryl Tweedy.Although I can see that for some acts it is best to stick to miming.What has happened to JLS and their vocals they were dire singing with Lemar for Sports relief he made them look like 12 year old backing singers whose voices had just broken.
