And obviously the others were ballads and we all know how well ballads do in BJSC -_-

"Black Butta" and "Soul Survivor" are uptempo, uplifting, a bit camp and BIG sounding. Perfect for BJSC. "Straight Jacket" and "Beautiful Night" are just as good, they just happen to show the more stereotypical image of Bev. She has tons of beautiful songs like them, it's what she's known for, the songs I've sent have been a departure from that so people are 'surprised' by her.

I wasn't even putting him down as a contender until Aaron put him 2nd and then all the hype after LOL... Sangria could dark horse it IMO. (Not to say whether I like it or not though :P - Not heard it yet) but qualifying with a deduction, must mean enough people liked it enough to give it fairly big points :unsure: However. I am not sure about Hendinia's chances anymore. The hype seems to be fading on it, now it's gone to Skall. This contest is so open. Robyn will do a 'Never Leave You'. All the others.. I dunno. I'm expecting none of the favourites to win now and going for someone who seems to be bottom of the odds now. Maybe a Golden Filter win? :unsure:
