The album is pretty good. A few Westlife ballads here and there, but quite a lot of uplifting songs which is pleasing.

Better For You has GOT to be a single though...

Eyes Wide Shut is fantastic - I hear it's the next single, which is great news as it's like the sequel to One Shot. I adore the intro and the Calvin Harris-esque synths

I thought the same thing. One Shot part 2

Deabting whether to give a listen or not? My friend got it today, said I can borrow it anytime... If I like, I will buy. But is it more TCIA or LYM? Bearing in mind I hate TCIA, should I go for it?

Edited by Liam...!

probably westlife can beat this poor boys that are trying to learn to sing. . .

^^ :manson:

Anyway, listening to this album first time through, I'm actually disappointed. My early favourites are 'Better For You', 'Eyes Wide Shut' and obviously 'Love You More'. 'Work' is cringey. But yeah after their impressive debut, i'm disappinted. Although I said their first album was crap after first listen, so I guess I'll have to give it chance to grow. The lyrics in most of the songs are beyond awful though.

i dont think this guys will have another successful year. . . that is their last. . . Go Westlife!

Oh yeah, considering they're sitting at #1 and the new Wasteoflife single is a flop. :manson: Great theory. They'll beat the karaoke singers in the album chart too.

I just heard 'Eyes Wide Shut' and like 'One Shot' is a cut above their usual output. I don't know why they save their actual good songs for post album release.

Jonjo I was the same. I listened to it all once through a few days ago and was just like

But after a few listens.. I've realised its much better than their debut. Their albums are always growers

'Like Christina, she's a diva, ain't afraid to get Dirrty'

Sorry, did we go back to 2002?

Reminds me of O-Town's Liquid Dreams lyrically namechecking (mostly) relevant attractive female celebrities.

I like the album overall, all the more because I only paid £3.99 for it on Amazon MP3, but it was worth it just for Eyes Wide Shut

Listening now. Pretty impressed, as I was disappointed with the debut album, but this seems much better so far. I really like the name-checking in 'Work' (especially the GaGa bit), and 'Eyes Wide Shut' is a great single choice.
