I pretty much enjoyed it watching Angelina kick some ass :wub: but a lot of potholes with all the twists trying who was sided with who.

 

TBH, I thought the script was badly written... If you compare it to how the Bourne films were structured, Salt pales by comparison...

Tom Cruise turned it down for the role of Edwin Salt :lol: if he did do it, it would have been on the same wavelength as the Bourne movies. I find the Bourne movies so much superior to this.

I seen it for the 2nd time yesterday, I love it! My #2 film so far this year..

I loved this film, looking forward to the sequel. Which I hope we get, lol.

I did find some of the parts to be a bit unbelievable though... there were many times she could have been shot but wasn't. Mainly when she jumps onto the moving lorry, there was an agent with a perfect aim but they didn't even attempt to, lol. And the 'lift leap' as I like to call it didn't come across as very convincing. Apart from that, I thought it was relatively solid. I much prefer Angie in action roles.

Haha no, I've seen loads since getting a cineworld card, I can't even explain why I loved it so much I just did. I do have a bit of a thing for Angelina though.

 

Still It couldn't beat Toy Story 3!

I thought this was f***ing dreadful.

Nothing remotely interesting about it, it was just another action movie. And not a very good one.

Everybody being negative is RIGHT, it was highly disappointing. Alright film up until she dyed her hair I guess, after which it went to absolute shit though. It was far too ridiculous to handle - some of the dialogue was SHOCKING.

 

"Somebody's going to try to kill the Russian president. Do something about that!"

 

It just didn't work on any level - it was too serious to work as a parody and far too unbelievable and filled with plotholes to work as a serious action film. Even Angelina seemed to be on autopilot and most of the other actors were outright bad. 4/10.

 

It didn't bomb though Jonjo. To date it's taken $245m plus the international figure is still rising. Budget was $110m which will probably become $175m with all marketing and promo costs added in so it's well into profit already.

God yeah, almost as bad as this choice line of dialogue from Plan 9 From Outer Space -

Of Course Plan 9... had a budget of ten bucks and a bacon sandwich in comparison to this, so one WOULD expect some bloody script-doctoring and development to be done on Salt, clearly not however...... :rolleyes:

 

I hardly think anybody expected it to be as big as Inception.

This film made me feel ILL. I thought Wanted was bad. Angelina Jolie annoys me so much. She quite obviously has a penchant for starring in action movies but they've seriously been $h!te.

 

Its a shame because I think she can actually act! Girl Interuppted and Changeling kind of proved that. Despite the latter being a bit of a DRAG.

The Wanted has a diabolical ending. It left me feeling a bit :manson:

Watched this movie with my friends. I was a bit disappointed. I mean, the movies is really good and I wasn't bored at all while watching it. I think the trailer somewhat made it seem much better. I don't know, it was good but I wasn't stunned by anything.

I really enjoyed it although the ending was abrupt and left me wanting more!
