Loved the complete over dramaticness of the reveal; Leon falling into a bush, Zsa Zsa passing out on a bench, Stacey being woken up but Denise who is right by it not being woken, FABULOUS <3

I thought tonight's episode was a TOTAL mess, especially the way the Denise in the bedroom stuff was handled. Diane Parish deserves better than crappy storytelling like that.

lord... again we are in agreement... are you getting old n grumpy?...lol

it was utter tosh..

Yes Rob but you think that about 19 episodes out of 20 whereas I think it about the episodes which actually are bad.

And I've always been grumpy!

its all a matter of opinion, not fact.

It was an OK ep, but it was too focused on the teens imo (although I love Mercy, Fatboy and Zsa Zsa, Leon really annoys me). Stacey's parts were great tho

I think Diane Parish and Don Gilet are doing the best they can with utter messes for scripts. I can only assume the re-writes are to blame, as EE are usually more than capable of pulling things out of the bag for the blockbuster storylines.

But yes the bedroom scenes were rubbish. I know it was meant to be ambiguous, but it was TOO so. It left the viewers totally unsure whether Lucas really had gone off on one, or if Denise was being a drama queen about something.

I also thought the teens acting was off with the body reveal. Zsa Zsa's "oh I'm meant to scream here aren't I?" was very amateur dramatics. On the other hand, Leon falling into a bush did raise a chuckle. It would have been even funnier had he fallen into the "grave" with Owen.

I'm also still completely unconvinced by Glenda.

Sadly there are still a few too many weak links in the cast, and not all of them are the ones Kirkwood has axed.

Well in contrast tonight's episode was absolutely superb, totally on the money. Nobody does an aftermath episode quite like EastEnders. The tone of slight disbelief even with people like the Mitchells who didn't have much interaction with Owen (aside from Ronnie) is always spot on.

Today was an improvement. Again, Denise shone.

I still think a few things were off - Leon's little moment was completely unnecessary and half-arsed. And I have to admit I found Liz's death stare more comical than than of someone who had only found out 10 minutes before that her son was dead.

Ooh and I've finally come round to Ryan. The lack of a shirt helped.

I love dthe last 2 episodes the anticipation was building and building, lucas and denise have huge on screen chemistry which is a huge help. Also Ryan is really starting to come into his own the last few weeks and is turning into a decent charactor.

What did Lucas do to Denise? It's REALLY annoying me!

Just took her really, unexpectedly roughly from what I can gather, hence her screaming his name being heard in the street. I think he hurt her because he was kind of taking out his frustration on her and didn't bother being careful/gentle.

Good news about

Kat and Alfie getting the Vic. I can't help but feel there wouldn't have been much of a point to their return otherwise. I hope Mo moves in with them!

naughty jark, just gave away a spoiler!

aww..i missed it... never mind.

No suprise with Kat & Alfie, what with Peggy leaving and all. Im still not 100% on their return though, it potentially could ruin what were brilliant characters

OMG @ tomorrow's epi. excitement and a lack of realism forthcoming in regards to the lucas plottttt

I really do not want Kat & Alfie to return =[ I like Kat but Alfie?! But hopefully this will give enders a reason to use big mo more often!

I'm also really enjoying this Denis storyline at the moment, can't wait for the next few episodes!

But i do not want libby/chelsea to leave or denise to die!

I'm hoping that Becca/FatBoy/Mercy/Peter/Adam/Glenda get the axe soon as well! But i realllly like Zsa Zsa & Leon so i hope they keep just those two for a while yet! Anybody else think the recasting of Lucy beale is stupid? I know she isn't the best actress but she realllly looks like cindy and she can play the evil/bitchy role well enough...
