The Tories missed a trick at this election. If they'd announce, like the BNP, that they'd stop ALL IMMIGRATION without exceptions they'd be looking at a 200 seat landslide here. In my area there are far more immigrants and non-whites than white people. On nearly every bus I go the white people are slagging off the foreigners, sometimes quetly and sometimes so they can here.

Chris, are you seriously suggesting immigration shouldn't exist? Because that's retarded. The situation Craig gave is a very good one, Abdul will always be hired because he is willing to do a job no British person is willing to do for next to no money, many even take a huge step down because they're still getting a better life. If I was employing again I would choose a foreigner over an English person unless there was an exceptional English candidate because foreigners aren't afraid of hard work, particularly asians

I'll brush aside the Glaring inaccuracy of that for the now, but we have a lot of EU nationals here because of EU LAW. The European Union allows for a free movement of workers and trade. Something that has been insanely beneficial not only to the UK, but to the EU as a whole.

 

What bone idle chav layabout scum and down right racist c**ts who vote BNP and the morons that vote UKIP to 'get out of europe' have no idea that without the EU this country is up $h!t creek. We need the migrants, we need the free trade. Not to mention the amount of penalty clauses there are in EU law. I suggest you learn what the EU has done for you instead of letting yourself get force fed the $h!te that the scum print about silly little laws about curved cucumbers. The Tories, Labout and Lib Dems all have near-identical stances on immigration; they just express it in different language to try and score points off technicalities. But they all know that CONTROLLED immigration (because no-one is seriously suggesting that we let ALL non-EU residents who want to move here come if they want to) is necessary to keep the British economy afloat.

Laughable. There are as many people (if not more) in favour of immigration as there are narrow-minded dullards against. I think the very fact you think any party EVER would be capable of getting 526 seats says just about as much of your lack of knowledge on politics in this country as this statement. The views of about two million people in this country at most are not representative of the electorate of about 40 million.

tbh I don't buy this for a minute, the Sun is sinking to new lows to avoid the embarrassment of the Tories failing to get a majority after they swithced their support and in the 21st century I think people should be able to work in any country they want! [Providing they have correct documentation etc]

 

EDIT: Nothing against the Tories, I just don't like the way the Sun backs a party and slags off the other parties -_-, if it were a proper news paper it would present stories about the parties fairly and with an un-biased view.

To be honest I'm avoiding ALL newspapers until the election is over. They're all generally dreadful at the best of times, but now more than ever they don't even bother to disguise their bias. Some of the front pages I've seen this week have shocked me; I don't know how these institutions can call themselves newspapers, given there is little fact and "news", and all opinion pieces depending on whoever Rupert Murdoch has decided to support.
