I think Glee might scrape one in the top 30, more likely mid 30s though, and the rest in the top 100, possibly one or two missing the T100 entirely.

Y'all are overestimating it.

I think Diana was #1 on pre-orders last week

I expect it to be close between Chipmunk & Diana, but I think Diana should get it [hopefully]

Yes she was, and Chipmunk wasn't even top 5

on that basis, Diana should beat him on physicals, but it really depends on who gets the most downloads

Ooh, we shall see then! I think you're underestimating it.

I think "Gives You Hell" will be in the Top 3, with another two in the Top 20. There's no album scheduled as yet with this set of tracks on, and the buzz for these final episodes of Season 1 is huge!

glee will have an album out too so most fans will buy the whole set of songs rather than buy individually, the power of glee is hugeeee!

I have to agree I am no Gleek but there will certainly be at least 4 Glee songs that go Top 40 and at least 1 that is Top 5.Plus it has had a short beak so the fans will be very excited.

It's gonna be an interesting week. Chipmunk's Until You Were Gone vs Diana Vickers' Once vs Glee's Give You Hell vs Kelis' Acapella vs. Usher's OMG. They are all hot contenders for the number 1 spot.

GLEE FOR #1 NEXT WEEK. :kink:

Also Christina and David Guetta could be added to iTunes this sunday :o

is that christina and david guetta or two seperate songs???

diana vickers song is everywhere at the mo but chipmunk style music is more popular, wonder who'll win the battle?

great to see Marina top 40 again and its not out for 2 weeks - hopefully itll get even higher in the next 2 weeks - it will have been a sucessful release even if the single itself only scrapes top 40 for a couple of weeks!!

i would say sales are still dire this week, 50k for the number 1 single and 35k for the no1 album?!

Two different songs. Christina's Not Myself Tonight and David Guetta's Gettin Over You. :)

is davids one brand new?i haven't heard of it,wonder if itl get airplay!!another new album from him for summer 2010 - his songs made summer 2009!! :D

Gives You Hell will definitely go top 10. I'd be astounded if it doesn't.

While we're at it, I'm shocked Jay-Z might get top 40 this week!

It's like a remix and a re-work of Gettin' Over with Chris Willis that appears on his album, but it also features Fergie and LMFAO.

It's Marina's album which is top 40, and that was released in February ;)

^^sorry I mean't the album - which is doing well and talking in relation to the single if it hits the top 40 on release - i wrote it poorly!!

Chipmunk has no physicals.. download only single

Hope kate Nash is about 11,
Chipmunk has no physicals.. download only single

then Diana will have a huge advantage- and could beat him on physicals even if he beats her on downloads or itunes

Gives You Hell will definitely go top 10. I'd be astounded if it doesn't.

I know I'm quoting myself, which is quite weird, but Gives You Hell is #1 on Ireland iTunes atm (with a considerable lead)! If this is any indication, next weeks chart battle could be a 3-way one!

And I'd love it because the guy who presents the Sunday chart show on Radio 1 would be furious.

To be honest, it annoys me that we've got Diana and Chipmunk the same week. They're both fabulous songs which whould both get #1. The previous few weeks have had abysmal sales, so I can't really get my head around why one of then didn't release a week early. Hopefully both songs will get number-one, on different weeks.

And nice to see OMG going for number-one this week. :)

Glee does have a tiny disadvantage though, as it is on in the evening on Monday night, and Diana+Chipmunk will have had sales on Sunday + Monday morning/afternoon.

I can see "Gives You Hell" getting top 10, but I think it may miss the top 5

Just because she has physicals, doesn't mean she is going to get #1, you only have to take a look at Prof. Green and he might not do it, getting beaten by Usher on downloads only. I think Chipmunk is going to walk it. :P You only have to look what's gone to #1 this year, and most of them fall under R&B bracket.

I see there's quite a few people with this opinion!

All things considered, my prediction maybe was a little too low, but we'll see who's right when none of these things happen. :kink:

Regarding there being no album scheduled - I don't think enough people care enough, there'll still be a lot of people holding out for the album (if it happens, which I can't see it not doing :P)

The chance of Glee getting 3 in the top 20 or 4 in the top 40 is ridiculously low unless there's some sort of massive invisible hype surrounding the return that I have not experienced - don't forget that Glee never got more than 1 song in the top 40 in one week apart from the H/WOS and IML/CPII week.

And wasn't The Veronicas' Untouched #1 in Ireland with a huge lead? Look what happened there... it's a good indicator, but not 100% accurate. Even if I scale up my prediction a bit, no way in 'hell' will GYH or indeed any of the other go anywhere near #1.

But I digress...
