Mumford & Sons are plummetting on iTunes now, so it looks like they'll be out by Sunday. 6 weeks top 40 was still absolutely brilliant for a song such as The Cave, mind you.

Where precisely are Jay-Z & Swizz? I find it interesting they're still top 40... possibility of missing data today?

I've sort of figured out that it's at 40-1.

Looks like Paul will slip out of the top 20.

The Futureheads should hopefully be top 40 in tomorrow's update.

Wow, Kate Nash up to #13, maybe she can go top 10 :o

Very surprised, yesterday SFG were 200 ahead of PG, now they are still ahead, but Usher has over-taken PG as well :o

Selena still top 5 - hope she can hold on until Sunday :)

Selena's got physical sales helping her too ^_^.

Hopefully that will secure her a Top 10 position... don't think She'll maintain Top 5 for Sunday - amazing if she did!

i thoight shes would get top 30 never thought shes would be this high... its great

Hoping Paul can stay top 20, Jools Holland effect on Friday, plus Marina & The Diamonds are performing, that's the reason "I'm Not A Robot" is performing well on iTunes at the moment.

Paul Weller has actually entered the iTunes top 100, which I didn't expect him to :o

He should easily stay top 20, he might fall tomorrow/Friday a tad or 2, I'm hoping he can recover after he performs on Jools. (23:45 BBC2)

Usher could well steal the number 1 on sunday, if not it will be very close.

Great to see Snow patrol set the fire to the third bar back in the charts, anyone know what has resurrcted sales for this brilliant song?

Dear John advert, shown constantly on TV.

Great song by snow patrol and martha.

WOO! Go Kate

Brilliant to see Usher take over Prof Green and looks likely to prevent him from getting a number 1 single. I saw Prof Green live when he was supporting Lily Allen, and I wanted to hit him in the face so hard. He's just got one of those faces hasn't he?

Oh and "Dear John" is released today, so we could expect to see it rise a bit more.

Who the hell is Professor Green? Never heard of him/them?

He's another British rapper.

His song heavily samples INXS - Need You Tonight.

When they put +3, what does it mean. i.e. 'If We Ever Meet Again 24+3', does that means it's at 27?

Well 24+3, with the base 10 number system human beings are currently using, equals 27.

:kink:

Paramore is at 29+3, Glee Cast are at 35+4. Taio's at 10+9, Paul Weller's still at 10+2, Timbaland & JT are at 5+3. If you want to know a certain song position in the top 40, just ask :D

Except we're not allowed to publish specific positions on the board, hence the additions being used to get around this. :P

Ah, feel free to delete my post then :naughty:

The Chart Update show on Radio 1 will tell us everything today anyway :P 3:30pm-4pm with Greg James.

Yep, much better now that the Midweeks are on radio aswell.

Looks like Ushers got it then- such a shame

Great to see snow patrol and martha back in the chart- thats a great song, that was overshadowed by Chasing Cars at first, it shouldve made the top 10
