Invisible Light is growing on me, I didn't think I'd be even slightly interested this time around but it's definitely better than 80% of the last album.

I think this will be one of the best albums this year

Oh my god, the entire attempt to sound like Pet Shop Boys (in their 80s) is just disastrous.

I like it's minimal 80s feel. Plus the trancey synths and proggy guitar.

 

It's more like Human League than PSB though. Or maybe other 80s bands. There's certainly a Pink Floyd/Stranglers element to the vocals,

It's blatantly Frankie Goes To Hollywood. But this is only one song, I'm sure the album will bring many surprises :)

Live versions of songs usually sound different to the studio versions. I suspect the studio version of 'Fire' will sound a lot more dance in a 'Filthy/Gorgeous' style. Especially if that Popjustice summary was anything to go off; The Killers 'Human' Vs a thousand dancefloors. 'Fire' sounds like it could be a monster hit when released. The chorus is very ridiculously catchy. Usually does the trick. :D

Im really looking forward to hearing this, and anything on the line of filthy gorgeous and i will be happy.

They meant the previous one that they made, which was unreleased. This album will still be coming out, thank god :wub:

I like it a lot too, but I need to hear the full version before I say I love it...
