I think so. If you scroll down to the bottom of the iTunes store page, click on the Union Jack then change it to Ireland, you should be able to purchase songs from that store. I think it's slightly cheaper too if I've got the exchange rate right (it's 99cents for most songs, 1.29 for others).

I didnt think you could buy songs from other itunes store apart from your own country? Or is there a way around it. I have tried before and it certainly didnt work.

the irish market is smaller, hence glee dominating more.

talking of ireland,do they have a different itunes chart - i live in n.ire - would i beable to buy songs earlier on that?!?!

I don't think so. To make use of iTunes Ireland you'd need a billing address inside the Republic of Ireland, not just on the island of Ireland. ;)

New releases tonight:

Diana Vickers – Once

3OH!3 – Don’t Trust Me

Chipmunk feat Esmee Denters - Until You Were Gone

Kid Sister – Daydreaming

Robin Thicke with Estelle – Rollacoasta

You Me At Six – Liquid Confidence (Nothing To Lose)

And mabye Christina?

Not much tbh, only Diana & Chipmunk will make any major impact. Hopefully Christina is released aswell? Anyone know if it is?

Chip and DiVi will be a new top 2 fairly soundly...

Kid Sister might be a surprise top 20 hit, 3OH!3 might re-grace the top 100 but no more, Robin Thicke (who?) will flop, and YM@6 (whose song is already available on the album) also might go top 100. If they release Xtina again, she'll flop again.

Definitely a Diana VS Chippy (VS Usher?) battle this week. Rostelle could be a minor contender.

And Christina'd NMT won't be released until May/June.

Also Braysayer, it didn't flop - with no video and minimal airplay it reached as high as #58 on the day of release before being removed. That is not a sign of a flop.

Not that it's any sign, but Chip is nowhere to be seen on Irish Itunes, and it has been released there. I think Diana will beat Chip tbh
It is obvious it is going to be a huge downpour of Glee next week and hopefully a No 1 as well. The songs are actually good and sung really well.

Diana HAS to get a #1

The Boy Who Murdered Love has to be the next single.

I think both Diana & Chipmunk might lose out to Glee Cast tbh ... :heehee:

Yeah, I didn't watch the ep when I was on in the US, I'm watching it Monday, but I heard the songs, and I love love Gives You Hell

Radio 1 have never tried so hard to get a song to No 1 the way they are doing with Diana so I am definately hoping Gives You Hell gets the top spot.

Am I the only person who is *not* predicting a Glee onslaught?

GYH may have STL-style success but the rest won't make top 40 imo.

Also, Chipmunk for #1.

Of course, Diana for #1, it's a nice catchy song while Chipmunk's is just a 'Never Leave You' second-sorted wannabe.

As for Glee - I hope the songs won't do much but I smell that at least one song will get top10 officially.

I'm pretty sure it will be - just look at US & Ireland's iTunes. It's been hugely hyped up and isn't on either of the albums, can't see why it won't do well and even be #01 personally. Even if they don't do it this week, I'm pretty sure they will with 'Vogue'.
Yeyyy Jonathan Ross must have had a great impact for it

Britain's Got Talent is back on TV this evening so that could also throw up a few suprises

Usually the tracks just end up in the bottom end of the top 40, and trail off in the week, to be honest they are not going to do anything much.
