DJ has officially been confirmed as third UK single from The Beat Is today. It's being performed on Jonathan Ross tonight for the first time on UK TV :) I really think this is the one that can turn the era around for them, or at the least it will give them another top 20 hit :w00t:

Leaps and bounds better than 'Hole In My Heart', fingers crossed. This will struggle to get support like Radio 1 etc though which will put it at a disadvantage...
So good  my favourite track on their album without a doubt! I love how they get an X Factor slot in Denmark, they're that big there! Shame they didn't sing this at the O2 :(

Definitely, though Heart Failure comes close, I thought that they might have gone with that for the UK single, but then again, it's still fab  Shame indeed, I don't know why they couldn't have scrapped Semi Precious Weapons, World's WOrst Live Band completely

True, I should think so. The first two singles got Radio 1 support, I'm not sure why it wouldn't, but also I feel like this might be the single to get them back on commercial radio, who were all over the first album...

woo! good thing. it's the best on the album for sure, and the intro is amazing. well all of it is, best choice. although it'll probably flop as alphabeat aren't good with hits nowadays. :(

The most amazingly, fantastic choice they could have chosen imo  Easily the highlight from their album for me. Glad to see they're getting promo slots like Jono Ross too! :D Will be a nice boost for the single.

THIS BETTER BE A HIT! -_-

They were fucking amazing on J-Ro    I know I said I wouldn't, but I just bought tickets for Koko On April 28 :w00t:

I fully expect this won't get Radio 1 support because the last single flopped and was removed from the playlist on release week (which means the next single pretty much never gets playlisted) and of course the album did too. Still I hope this can somehow miraculously outpeak the last single without this support. :(

#86 on iTunes :cheer: bring on the video now

The song is alright, nothing outstanding. But I hope it's a top20 for them, the song deserves it.

And :heehee: at the random guy @ 1:26 in the video in the first post. :P

'DJ' should've been the follow up to 'The Spell'. This track is doing well in Denmark at the moment having peaked at no. 6 a few weeks back. However, it's not matched the dizzying success of 'The Spell' which went stright to no. 1 in Denmark and stuck around for ages.
I really like it but sadly I don't think it will do wonders in the UK charts :(

Wow, I didn't expect it to make a big impact :o

Here's the J-Ro performance:

Pretty good considering half the band were stuck in Denmark under a volcanic ash cloud :snif:

Juggled a few things round next week, so that I can go to Alphabeat in Brighton on 27th April :cheer: will be the third time seeing them if I include the GaGa support!
