I don't like the single mix. :( Decent enough video though I guess. I love that UV-light effect. (I've always loved that Glow in the dark effect, especially in Aggro Santos' video) Hope it does well, but I doubt it though.

I think it's EPIC, though they have obviously tried to make it sound more like The Spell as it was sort of a hit... I can imagine it getting radio play, but in a way I wish they had left it how it was.

that single mix is dire, the intro to the album version is amazing whereas the single mix just gets rid of it. >.< love the video though, especially the parts with the neon green lights. :wub:

Seeing them live tonight for the third time :cheer: I like the single mix, but maybe not as much as the album version. Sounds like the vocals have been re-recorded to, Stine sounds a bit lower in register in parts.

Saw them live last night - was fantastic, the best of the three times I've seen them easily! Stine looked brilliant wearing that record on her head and the show was a brilliant mix of the best songs from both albums. I won't say anymore as I know Tom's going tonight and I don't want to spoil it but it was brilliant :D Really enjoyed Pearl & The Puppets too, Eliza Doolittle's a bit too twee still for me. Skinny Genes is overrated and everything else of hers is like a weaker version of that.

 

DJ is my favourite single of theirs since Boyfriend, I don't see it catching on much in the UK but I absolutely love it :wub:

Best song on the album hands down, but I hate the video - aside from the UV bit :-(

I've really gone off Alphabeat recently and i've rather ignored the 2nd album ever since I first listened to it but after giving this another few listens - i've rather suprisingly really started to like it. Definatly their best since Boyfriend.

'Hole In My Heart' was the one the album was launched off and the real mistake I would say...

Hole In My Heart is a good song, but on reflection, it isn't single material. This should have been single #2 and #3 should have been Heart Failure.
